In celebration of Arabic Language Day, today's post features our 'Echoes of Arabia, Arabic Roots of Everyday English' diary design. It highlights the fascinating and unknown etymology of Arabic words. For example, did you know words such as ‘Alchemy', ‘Algorithms' and ‘Algebra’ all come from Arabic roots? During this project, we discovered the rich and fascinating history of Arabic Etymology and how many English words travelled across the continents over hundreds of years to settle within our everyday language today. #InspiralDesign #ArabicLanguageDay #Arabic #Etymology #Language #History #Creative #Design #GraphicDesign #Typography
