Intercede Ventures Limited (IVL) was formed by a small group of senior aviation managers and directors with the objective of developing systems and technology to help reduce the carbon footprints of transport prime movers such as aircraft, automotive vehicles, railway trains, marine vessels and eco power generation equipment.

In pursuance of the corporate objectives Intercede Ventures works closely with specialised academic teams based at the University of the West of England (UWE) where excellent wind tunnel technology is based. To date two joint venture Patent applications have been made by IVL with UWE for technology specifically created to help reduce transport and power generation carbon footprints.

The Intercede Automotive Surface Analyser (IASA) includes patented technology and software designed to measure drag the data of which can be used to manage surface treatment and cleaning regimes. The first automotive prototype IASA instruments are currently being tested before going into production late in 2016.
