About International Academic Projects

International Academic Projects (IAP) is an international educational charity based in London whose aims are to help promote education, training and research into conservation, archaeology, anthropology and other related fields.

International Academic Projects Description

The majority of the professional development courses in conservation and museum studies take place in Britain and Europe from June through August. The duration of these courses, led by international experts, varies between one and five days. The courses often address very particular types of knowledge or skills.

IAP also co-operates with institutions and colleagues abroad to provide training courses for museum, conservation and archaeological personnel. Courses outside of the UK have been held in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Australia, the USA, Austria, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Finland and Malta.

IAP is particularly interested in bringing some of its conservation training courses to the countries of Latin America. We are happy to discuss initiatives with interested parties.
