Don't forget this coming week: MDT Tuesday (mixed program) Saturday (all things Rally). For the uninitiated, MDT stands for Master Dog Trainer Award Program. You work with your dog on a multitude of challenges across a vast range of areas, building your relationship, your skills and your knowledge as you go. Great fun, supportive environment, open to all. Check it out on our website. www.iabtc-angelawhite.co.UK

We had a fabulous time with Mary Ray here at IABTC. Three days of relaxed humour, great company and of course amazing tuition from the 'one and only'. Everyone went home with a bucket load of homework, renewed enthusiasm and best still, a smile on their face. Thank you to everyone for making it a great 3 days, but of course especially Mary. Looking forward to next year already!!

On Wednesday we had to say a sad farewell to Rico our oldest Pyrenean Sheepdog (father to Tyke). He was a sprightly 16, a little bit deaf, a little short sighted, but loved life until suddenly his legs gave in and left him unable to stand. He was, as they all are, very special. He retired from helping with students a few years ago, but I am sure some of our past students will still remember him. He has inspired quite a few to indulge in the breed and so was a great ambass...ador, attending discover dogs at Crufts quite a few times. You may have seen one of his sons (Archie) with Kim Lyddon showing off his HTM with Richard Curtis in the Good Cit ring, and hopefully Archie will be back there again next year. He was a sensitive soul and always new when I wasn't well - in fact he refused to leave my side at Waldridge Fell Obedience show (even for the stays!!) the next day I was diagnosed with Meningitis! He will be greatly missed. But we have Tyke to carry the memories. Angela White

Here at IABTC we are close to some amazing places, thought you might like something different from dogs, why not stay at Lupine Woods and enjoy, Flying stoats, raging rhinos, prowling tigers, polar bears doing the back stroke at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, and and after the YWP the amazing skeleton museum. So much more locally too.

Hi I have several people asking about copies of photos.. if you initially message on this post , I will add your name to my list. I am charging £5 (Any money is being split between PAT Dogs and my new fast lens for indoor photography) for high quality un watermarked copies the cost is for one full photo and a montage or two full photos, I will contact you for your email address and details of which photos you would like. to send them as Facebook reduces the quality of photos. I won’t be send any until I have posted all day twos photos. Feel free to copy any of the photos posted, if you could credit me Diane Rhodes that would be nice as half my enjoyment comes from seeing where photos end up. Thanks for you interest.
