International Student Experiences Description
ISE is a small local run business based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We pride ourselves in finding first class families and paring them with our international students. In addition we offer the students a thorough UK experience, seeing all the many attractions we have to offer in the beautiful South East and staying with a host family completes this British experience for the students.
Being a host family is a fulfilling experience, enabling you to provide a caring and safe environment for the students to eat and rest, in readiness for their fun packed day ahead!
As a host family, you need to collect the students from a designated point in the evening (usually 7. 30pm) and drop off in the morning (7. 30am) As well as a bed and bathroom you will need to provide three meals a day for the students. Comprising of; breakfast (cereal, toast etc) a packed lunch (sandwich, crisps, water, fruit and chocolate bar) and an evening meal.
Hosting has many advantages and with ISE the students stay for 3-4 nights at a time, leaving your weekends free! The income is also tax free and drop off / collection times work perfectly around daily life.

• Our student groups are arranged by trusted and regulated specialist educational tour operators, mainly from France, Holland and other European countries. ... • They typically arrive on a Monday evening and depart on a Thursday or Friday morning. • Families drop off in the morning at one of our central meeting points and pick up in the evening. • Students have very rich and packed cultural itineraries, meaning they are out all day with their friends and teachers • We offer a good rate of remuneration to cover your expenses.

On Sunday 16th December, ISE were delighted to host a group of 250 people. A fabulous afternoon of pantomime fun was enjoyed by all at Assembly Hall Theatre.. We were joined by some of our amazing #hostfamilies who do an wonderful job of #hosting our #internationalstudents .. We also enjoyed the company of lots of our friends and family from the local #TunbridgeWellsCommunity .. There was fun, lots of laughter, dancing, singing and audience participation.. Overall it made us feel super Christmassy! Thank you to each and everyone of you that came!!
