This is one my husband's and mine favourite restaurants, we celebrated my friend's birthday last Sunday and 'Into The Blue' did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the team were welcoming and service friendly and efficient. Incidentally, it's also great value for money. If you're a lover of fish and seafood, this for you, although they include a limited range of veggie & meat options too. We go back time and time again and will continue to do so. One other thing, our friends had also dined in a high profile, high end city centre fish restaurant just a few days earlier but rated 'Into The Blue' far higher.

Thank you so much for ringing me today. I am so chuffed to know I will have my 'Jewel' back. Sentimental value. Thank you too to the very kind lady who found it in her bag and took the trouble to return it. Thank you ALL!

Seafood specialist, interesting menu, food very tasty and well presented. Great service. Doesn’t look much from the outside but well worth a visit. Would highly recommend this Restaurant

Our second visit today and it was as good as the first. Excellent service, nothing is too much trouble. They set the bar high, if you want good seafood go here, just here. Will be back again soon. Can't reccomend highly enough.

Lovely meal last night with family and friends. Not our first visit and now others have seen for themselves how good the food is. Back again soon! A hidden gem of a restaurant.

I had a fantastic seafood platter, whilst my dining companion had the thickest slice of goats cheese that I have ever seen as part of his goats cheese and mushroom burger. A wonderful place which is always full, even at lunchtime

User

Beautiful seafood restaurant with an excellent menu. Enjoyed the scallops and cod as a main. Would recommend this for everyone, even those who do not eat fish as the steaks looked delicious.

Always good - make sure you book as turning up without a booking can leave you disappointed even midweek. We were there on Thursday for Jonnie’s birthday, fabulous moulesfor me, Jon had a bouillabaisse with soft shell crap, Joe had fillet steak. Nothing disappointed. Washed down with a bottle of good Sancere at great price. I trust a small kitchen without too long a menu, you should too. Highly recommended 👍

Absolutely the best gluten free fish (in batter) I have tasted.

And the lobster is divine.

Really lovely service too.

My partner proposed to me in this restaurant and the staff made it really special.

Little hidden gem.

Highly recommend.

Good food & service

I'd give it 5 stars if it was just the fish - they really know how to cook fish. however, the dead flies in the canopy above my head, the wine glasses covered in tea towel fibre (I hope and think that's what it was), the slow service, the boiled/steamed and cut potato claiming to be fondant and a very stodgy mango cake all add to the loss of two stars. But go anyway as the fish really is exquisite - between us we had scallops, prawns, salmon, cod loin, turbot and monkfish - all cooked to perfection and, other than the not fondant potato, harmoniously accompanied.
