Intuition Centres Description
Intuition was developed in 2012 to offer affordable, additional educational support to children and young adults, residing in Cheadle and surrounding areas.
Our tuition classes are available to children and young adults aged 8 – 18 years on preparation for examinations at all key stages.
In partnership with parents /carers and schools, we aim to identify and remove barriers to learning by raising student’s self esteem and improving attainment in order for students to become confident learners. We also support those who are already exceeding targets by progressing towards outstanding performance.
We invite parents /carers and students to discuss their educational needs and indicate areas of concern at point of registration. This gives us an understanding of individual needs in order to provide an efficient service. The Intuition Centre offers support with homework and coursework, based on a ratio of 1 to small group tuition.
Our unrelenting focus is to ensure that the quality of teaching and learning in all lessons are of the highest standards, and all students, no matter what their skills and abilities, are presented with the right opportunities to allow them to achieve. Our committed and skilled staff works tirelessly to achieve that goal.

We remain open until advised otherwise.
The government plans to stop large gatherings, however we are a small centre with only 25 people at any one time.
... The centre has had a deep clean earlier this week and in addition we are signing a contract with a cleaning company to carry out a weekly deep clean. Also we have implemented a hygiene policy to all staff and students to wash their hands as they enter the centre.
In the event of lockdown where we are forced to shut we have invested in an online tuition platform. We will unfold the plans if lockdown / school closures take place but until then follow the advice of the NHS and wait for updates.
If any parent, student or teacher has flu like symptoms we ask for them to self isolate and not return to the centre for up to 7 days.

Dear Parents
As you are aware, the situation regarding the COVID-19 virus is ongoing and we are continuing follow advice given to us by the Government, DfE, PHE and the local authority.
... As a community it is important that we work together to minimise the risks.
We therefore ask that if your child is unwell in any way, you monitor them at home and give us as much information as possible.
We will remain open, however we feel it is important to take sensible precautions for the benefit of everyone involved:
Do not attend if you are unwell in any way (You are allowed 2 absences per term before getting charged)
Please wash your hands on arrival. Hand sanitizer will be provided in both our centres.
As per our email earlier this week, it is important that you inform us if you have travelled to or from any of the category 1 or category 2 countries listed.
We will keep you updated as information is communicated to us.
