A fully-regenerative Mitsubishi Electric A741 Frequency Inverter being prepared for shipment earlier today. Unlike the smaller A800 next to it, the A741 allows energy generated by a connected motor to be returned to the supply thus recovering energy that may otherwise be wasted!

Malcolm is preparing a 200kW WEG CFW11 variable speed drive for shipment this afternoon. It will be used to speed control a fan in a glass toughening process. The external "DBW03" braking unit and large dynamic braking resistor will enable rapid changes in speed.

A busbar is fitted to the DC link terminals of several Parker 890CS/CD AC Inverter Drives to create a Common DC bus. These systems are perfect for shaft and transmission testing as they can share electric motor braking and driving to reduce energy use to losses only and hence save energy!

Malcolm is preparing these WEG Variable Speed Drives for shipment this afternoon. The large drive is a CFW701 HVAC model rated at 132kW and it will be used as part of a ventilation system in a recycling facility. The smaller drives are for a Belgian customer who process and package salt for various applications.

Malcolm (and his assistant!) are processing various CFW11 Variable Speed Drives from Brazilian manufacturer WEG this afternoon. They range from 45kW to 90kW and the largest will be delivered tomorrow and used to control multiple electric motors in an abrasive blasting application.

A control module is fitted to one of several Parker AC30 variable speed drives being prepared for shipment to our customer in Italy. They will be delivered tomorrow and used in a cable manufacturing process.

Courtney is helping Tom process Invertek Drives variable speed drives this morning. The largest is an IP55 Optidrive P2 rated at 55kW for delivery tomorrow. It will be used as part of a test rig by a UK industrial fan manufacturer.

The Bloodhound Project are building a 1,000mph Land Speed Record Car. Back in 2013 we supplied a 90kW Parker 690P Inverter and TEC Electric Motor to support a key part of the EJ200 (Typhoon) jet engine testing process which ultimately provides power to the car. The tests were passed and the team plan to make their record attempt next year. Good luck! 👍

Infinity Blue is a 9m high 20-tonne sculpture by Studio Swine for the Eden Project in Cornwall, UK. It blows scented vapour rings via 32 cannons to represent Cyanobacteria oxygenating Earth 3 billion years ago. Each vapour ring cannon is controlled by a Schneider Inverter and TEC motor supplied by us together with technical assistance. It's great to play a very small part in such an extraordinary project!

Tom is scanning Parker 690P AC Drives and Dynamic Brake Resistors this morning. These will be delivered to our customer in France tomorrow and used on a high speed converting line including unwind and rewind.
