Invisible Youth

About Invisible Youth

Invisible Youth is the Social Circus contingent of The Invisible Circus, Bristol.

Invisible Youth Description

The young people we work with come from the most deprived ward in the South West and have a range of socio-economic backgrounds. Thus they present us with varied challenges and are sometimes not able to attend as regularly or develop their circus skills as we would wish. It is tough and sometimes heartbreaking, but ultimately all the more rewarding when they manage to pull off a beautiful act or improve their ways as they get to know and trust us and one another.

If you like the sound of this and are interested in making positive social change through circus and arts please get in touch.

We offer a training and skill share day for new recruits where they can learn teaching skills and games, ask questions and meet other people involved in the project.

We are always looking for volunteers to teach circus, performance, music, arts and crafts, or to come and support tutors with these skills, play games and meet some of the most inspiring young people in Bristol.
