Went in to Cafe Istanbul this evening. Great service and great food. We will definitely return to try more food from the tempting menu and thatŌĆÖs from me, someone who rarely tries anything new!

Went in for lunch today. Everything was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They went out if their way to help. The food was delicious as well, so good we had seconds Haha!

We will definetly be returning!!

Went for lunch with the wife and two of the kids. Lovely meal and service, generous portions that were reasonably priced as well. WeŌĆÖre definitely going back!

We have just been as a group of five for tea and they where so welcoming and catered for my dietary requirements, we all ordered individually and we're able to pay seperate, they went above and beyond and provided an amazing service especially the main guy. Thankyou so much we will be back! X

Visited at lunchtime with my girlfriend. We had booked a table outside. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the portions were good. We had a lamb doner and a mince&egg pide, which were both very good (especially the latter). We ended our meal with an excellent baklava and a Turkish coffee. We suggest adding a ramp to make the restaurant accessible to wheelchair users (so we can come back anytime regardless of the weather!).

The food here is nothing short of outstanding and the cafe is a breath of fresh air. I am currently working through the menu and everything I have tried so far is an absolute delight.

Really delicious food and extremely helpful, friendly staff - all for a very reasonable price. Will be back!

First time ordered! Guy on phone so helpful with our order. Food arrived quick and hot! I had the peri chicken which was beautiful! Partner had the lamb in nann bread and the lamb was so soft and tender and flavoured! Salad very fresh! Will be ordering again ’┐Į thank you so much

Finally got chance to visit tonight and we were both very impressed, gorgeous authentic Turkish specials, very juicy flavoursome grilled meats, beautiful bread and dips, and enjoyed our Turkish coffee and apple tea to finish. Generous portions and very reasonable price. Looking forward to a Turkish breakfast soon!

Called in with the wife after work and had a great experience - all of the staff are friendly and couldn't do enough for us or the other customers. Food was first class - tasty, well-presented and extremely good value-for-money. Will happily return and would highly recommend. First class!

Called in this evening to have something to eat after the fireworks. Had some delicious cheesy garlic bread as a starter to share, then we had 1/2 chicken with chips & mixed salad. I had grilled lamb steak again with chips & salad. Everything was cooked very well & served by extremely polite and helpful staff. Great stuff Cafe Istanbul

Been here several times. The food is consistently excellent. The service is fast. The staff are friendly and the place is welcoming and inviting. This is our new favourite place to eat. Oh, and the prices are brilliant!

Ate here last night for a change from the usual places in Lancaster. Was met with a very warm welcome from staff. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Plenty of veggie options too. Will be returning. ’┐Į

Always a warm welcome and lovely food. My son used to live in Istanbul and I look him in to try the coffee yesterday - it fully lived up to expectations, and he got a take-out gozleme to eat at the station whilst awaiting a delayed train. It's great to have this excellent addition to Lancaster's food offer, can only be improved by adding Baba Ganoush to the menu!

Absolutely the best Turkish food in town. So tasty kebabs, soups, pizzas, and of course baklava. the staff are welcoming and service is really good. I definitely recommend it.

Yummy food! Went for a late lunch. We started with the lemony lentil soup and then my kids had a Gozleme each (one with feta cheese, the other with spinach and onion) and I had chicken kebab with deliciously made fragrant rice with crispy onions, served with dips - hummus and cacik (similar to tzatsiki). All for ┬Ż22 - bargain!
