What an awesome place! Dinner was great. Didn't know what to expect as I'd never had Turkish food before - can now definitely recommend it at Istanbul Harrogate. Highlight was the service we received. Never found such excellent service! Thank you to all at Istanbul Harrogate �

This must have been our 6th visit and, do you know what, each time it gets better. First class authentic Turkish food, and, more to the point, authentic Turkish hospitality! Cok Guezel, Arkadesler!

I visited the new Beverley restaurant last night with my husband and some close friends. The food, the service and the Yakut wine was superb! Restaurant tastefully decorated with an inviting, friendly & relaxed atmosphere.

Hospitality at is best! Highly recommend, we shall be returning!

Great place and location. Food was super, we sat in the window seats which were nice and comfy. Responsible priced and would recommend!

Great food. Well recommend a visit if your in the area. The set meal for 2 with the mixed grill is good value for money and absolutely delicious.

Great food and price is comparable to other good restaurants so no surprise there. Owner indeed make us feel welcome and served with high quality. Have to visit this place�

Came here for my birthday the other night and what can I say ? The staff and especially the owner couldn't be more accommodating, helpful and generous, all 10 of us loved the setting, the food and the attention to detail by the staff, cold and hot mixed starter followed by a mixed grill is an awesome choice 5/5 will return again soon

Best raspberry mojito I have ever had, oh and the food was excellent too. I can recommend the hot meze platter and the Iskender kebab.

Amazing place..and the loveliest staff and most wonderful warm host.....efes beer bottled and draft...cold and tasty...hummus and calamari for starters and turkish bread ...chicken kebabs amazing.....wish this was near us in notts ..fabulous food service and atmosphere x

Amasing place!. I visitied Harrogate from Cumbria and googled Turkish resturanta before my journey and booked here and it was brilliant I made a great choice!. It has made me want to book a holiday back in Turkey! The service was A* lovely staff and the food was gorgeous! I am so stuffed! I tried all the mezes and dips and had mousakka! my other half who is plain jayne ordered t bone steak and chips and he said it was the best steak his ever had and he os well travelled! they cooked it perfectly at medium! Afterwards we had baklava that was just as beautiful as we get it abroad!. I would recommend this resturant to everyone! The staff go out there way to help you! AMAZING! Thankyou!

As a large table of 7, our orders were taken quickly and the food arrived all in good time, didn't have to wait ages for either starters or mains. If I could give 10 stars I would! Will definitely be coming back here when I am in the area. Thank you for such fantastic food!!

I can reccomend the Imam Bayildi. Very nice, lovely place, staff were great, table.of 10 amd all the food came at the same time in good time. Mocktails are lovely too!

Had the cold Meze starter then the mixed grill. The tastiest mixed grill we've had in ages. Service good. Food all seemed freshly prepared and good ingredients. Our measure of good is "would we bring Ozzie fine-dining chef son-in-law here?" Answer. Yes.

My wife and I came to the restaurant on Saturday at 21:00 for our 8 year wedding anniversary.

On entry the bar tender was very pleasant and made us both a lovely cocktail which we thought would be free.

From there we felt extremely rushed as all the staff were bothered about is finishing early. The starters came out 2 minutes after ordering which at the time was very impressive.The mains came out quickly and the bottle of wine recommended was nice (turned out to be their most expensive).

The issue was the next day. My wife and I both woke up feeling very ill and we could only think this was the food. All day we were being sick and our stomachs were aching. All the day we were burping and tasting the food and then being sick. We were not impressed.

When thinking about it the food came out so quick we wondered how it was prepared? We have eaten there before and never had any issues. Sad as we like the place.

All I would say is, even if your last sitting is at 9pm dont rush people. Customers are king, let them relax.

Also the bar tender came across like the cocktails would be on the house due to our anniversary and they charged them on our bill....wasn't best pleased.
