I am an Italian (but also Swedish, Spanish, German and with a British Passport. . . ) multidisciplinary tutor. I am a fully qualified teacher, with a solid academic background. I hold a BA in Italian, two MScs, a PGCE, and a PhD. I am also a professional translator and interpreter.

My BA is in Italian studies and it is from UCL. My first master is in Scientific, Medical, and Technical Translation and Translation Studies and it is from Imperial College London, whereas for my second master (in Environmental studies) I went back to UCL. Shortly after I completed it I decided to move to Australia where I did my PhD (University of Sydney). There I analysed Dante's Comedy, Britain and Fascist Italy.

I started my teaching career in 1994 and since I accumulated experience in 3 continents. I also frequently teach online. It is a great way to learn in the comfort of your own home. I employ a novel approach that makes ample use of controlled structures. These are designed to give you a comfortable learning space where you know step-by-step what you will be learning and what your progress is.



On a different account, I speak a few languages, such as:



English and Italian at native level - Fluent Spanish - Get by in French and Latin. I explored Danish, German, and Japanese and I am now studying Russian.
