Railways
Representing railway workers around the world. Railway workers include train drivers, engineers, guards, control officers, signal staff, yard officials, shunters, rolling stock and track maintenance workers, cleaners, caterers, ticket staff and customer service professionals.
We fight for the rights of railway workers through:

We share information and coordinate action to combat the negative effects of restructuring, privatisation and outsourcing.

Road Transport
Safety and solidarity for road transport workers.
Road transport encompasses workers in both freight and passenger road transport, from trucks to taxis and buses. There are also those in call centres and warehouses providing support to the worldwide road transport network. Road transport workers may be formally employed or they work in the informal economy.
We fight for the rights of road transport workers through campaigning, solidarity, research, exchange of information, coordinated actions and education. Find out more about what we do below.

ITF supports truck protest in Australian cities An ITF delegation has been in Australia to support a massive demonstration by truck drivers.
Trucks converged at points in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide as part of the action by the Transport Workers’ Union.
