Iwct Description
In 1998 the International Wildlife Coalition Trust (IWCT) became involved with the illegal dog meat trade in the Philippines and worked to set up an associated animal welfare organisation, based in the Philippines and known as Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc. (AKF). Together our aim is to put an end to the practice of illegal slaughter of dogs for human consumption and provide quality medical care and a safe environment for helpless animals at the Rescue Centre in Capas, with an aim to re-house as many as possible in new loving homes.
