I went in today not really knowing much about bikes and the staff were excellent and couldn't of been more helpful. They explained every thing to me that I needed to know. Excellent experience!

Helpfull staff up stairs in the shop. Some stunning bikes. It's like a small museam up stairs.

Won't be getting any of my money and they don't deserve yourseither. I have 3 year old Ducati Multistrada (with full main dealer service history) for which they are main agents to part exchange for a brand new bike. Response was we are not interested your bike has to many miles at 18,000 obviously only interested in customers who sit and look at their bikes not do what they are made for and ride them !

A really good shop, and very willing to answer questions. Wish I had more than five stars to award.

We recently moved to the area. Popped by the shop and workshop and found Terry and Laurence really helpful. Answering my random questions on new models and current bikes my wife and I have.

After the initial meeting I booked our Dukes in for a service and replacing the starter motor on our Hypermotard. The bikes were picked up and dropped off, all the work was clearly started on the invoice and communication while the work performed was excellent.

Having dealt with a few different Ducati dealers over the years, and typically much much bigger (Manchester and London), it was great to meet a dealer, where customer service is still important and they clearly have a deep technical knowledge of the Ducati and Kawasaki bikes. Looking forward to using J&L for all our Ducati requirements (new bikes and servicing) in the future.

Arrogant and unhelpful service department. The boss is condescending and patronising. Will never take my Ducati to them. There are much better Ducati ambassadors around who treat you like a customer and help you. The other similar comments are not without merit. Beware.

Friendly staff spent time chatting to me about my bike choice but in the end I could never buy a bike from them because they won't or can't let you test ride the bike you fancy. This is crazy and I don't think you can lay it at the door of the staff. They have a small number of demo bikes and if the one you want isn't one of those then tough. I can't make out their business model - both Lloyd BMW and KC SUPERBIKES both based in Carlisle don't seem to have the same limitations. Anyway as I say I don't consider it a staff problem. It's the stores policy that they are implementing that is the problem. They do have beautiful bikes. Such a pity.
