This advice is aimed at sports people, but tight shoulders are a common problem
The tennis ball is such a good thing to use to enable self massage.
Rolling your foot over a tennis ball regularly can help exercise and strengthen your feet, particularly if have plantar fasciitis

Jackie has a fantastic venue & a great team around her, she is so welcoming when you first meet her. It was the best and most nerve racking experience ever, I will never forget. But with awesome people around you & wonderful support, it made it so much easier.

I would highly recommend this school for learning.

Very professional all round, all the staff are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help at all times. Thoroughly enjoyed the course programme even though it is hard work, the support you receive and the fun you have makes it all worth while. I would recommend Jackie`s school to anyone thinking of adding a string to their bow or starting a new career.

The massage course was fantastic, Jackie is always on hand to answer any questions and offer advice. The classes are small so you get plenty of help during the practical lessons, and Peter the massage tutor and Cal who assisted made the learning fun.

Having worked in the NHS for the past 15 years as an Occupational Therapist, this has been the best hands on course I have ever attended. The content was well structured and suitable for all levels of learning from complete beginner to those with more experience in working with injury and other health related problems. This is a truly inclusive course with something for everyone, at any level.

I have come away with a wide range of knowledge and skills to add to my existing practice as an OT, along with the confidence to branch out on my own using a completely different way of helping people to have quality and wellbeing in their lives. Jackie’s school is a genuinely friendly place. It was that atmosphere which made me join up for a sports massage course and I wasn’t disappointed. My teachers Lorraine and Persia were brilliant and made learning relaxed and fun. The school’s association with Norwich City meant I got lots of hands on experience in a professional environment. I studied back in 2012 Level 3 Sweedish Massage at Jackie's School of Therapies. Great school, with great tutors and Jackie really friendly and approachable. I am glad that I applied to learn how to do massage with Jackie's School of Therapies to perfection, how to care for clients as best as possible. The passion of Jackie and tutors at school is exceptional. I would highly reccomend this school to anybody who would like to study massage and study in a high standard environment!

I started my therapy training with Jackie herself in 2005 with reflexology and Indian Head. Since then I have continued training at the school with other tutors, all of which have been excellent. The standard at the school is very high and you get a lot of support, leaving with the confidence to practice on the public. The support continues after you have completed your training also.

I really enjoyed doing the sports therapy massage course & all the staff were very knowledgeable & couldn’t of been more helpful. I’m not much good with computers & the support in helping me was great! Thank you Lorraine & Jackie.

I not only have a new qualification and career path to follow but I am now part of a support network in which I can always ask for help and advice. I joined Jackie Hamilton's school in September 2016 and I have just completed a 9 month Sports Massage level 4 diploma.



At the time of joining I was a stay at home mum of two toddlers, looking to start a new business that I could fit around them. I had no previous experience in massage or anatomy but I needn't have worried as the support given by the school was second to none. I have learned an incredible amount of information and I have managed to work it all around looking after my daughters!



I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school, the course itself was really interesting and I have met some amazing people along the way.

I have just completed my holistic massage diploma at Jackie Hamilton school on 25/06/17. Its an excellent school. My tutor Peter and his assistant Vicky were very helpful, friendly and professional at the same time.

Jackie always gives that extra support and help when you you need it. She even went out of her way to find and liaise with insurance companies to help me out to start up a business.

She has also opened up the school on occasions on request, just for the students to come in and practice at their convenience.

I would highly recommended Jackie Hamilton school of therapies for freshers as well as experienced therapist who want to develop further skills.

Excellent course materials with support always available. The mock tests were really helpful; I got 94% in the actual test! Have kept all my notes and regularly refer back to them. Jackie's A and P course is a great start...... and there's always more to learn!
