Haha .Sounds about right.Another busy day at Jack's despite the bad weather!.Lots of lovely customers made full use of our outside seating (while it was dry! ­¤śÄ) So still plenty of chances for sunshine and milkshakes this summer! ...Between the showers that is ­¤śÄŌśĆ’ĖÅŌøģ’ĖÅŌśü’ĖÅ­¤ī¦­¤ś▒Ōøģ’ĖÅŌśĆ’Ė Å­¤śģ

It's that time again.Another Menu revamp.We like to keep things moving and interesting at Jack's Snax . Our latest menu is packed with improvements and is now easier to navigate than ever!.We've included some of our customer creations in the official menu including the Beast Mode Burger which is a combined bacon bap/Cheeseburger & Chicken Burger in one! :-O .The Breakfast Baguette & Bap now includes hash browns & Cheese as standard and we've added new baps including Hash brow...n baps and grilled cheese options.To make things easier we've added some till side functions for swapping out items such as swapping egg for hash brown or extra bacon etc. Jacket potatoes continue to be popular at Jack's so we've made ordering Jacket's faster and easier aswell :-) .One last thing to remember... If you work locally... you receive 10% off all menu items! WHHhat :-O including box deals! WHHhat :-O , so claim your discount on every visit! Card payments welcome with no minimum spend.Please excuse the lack of signage on the shop this week.We had a run in with the wind and it took our Maaassive sign away to Oz.New sign is on it's way so until it arrives we look like a waffle shop :-P http://jacks-snax.com/menu/

Our friends over at Plastic Free Barnstaple Plastic Free North Devon have kindly noticed our efforts in reducing the use of single use plastic in our small but popular cafe.
We began fazing out non biodegradable items early 2018 , starting with our milkshake lids and take away boxes.We introduced paper bags to replace plastic bags where possible, and switched our plastic forks to wooden ones.
We may be small but we recognize the massive impact these 'little' conveniences hav...e on our increasingly polluted environment. Customers have been helping to by requesting a paper bag for their food instead of a box , which helps reduce waste even further.
We are also now a (FREE) top up point for anyone who carries a re-usable drinks bottle.There is little access to fresh drinking water around towns these days.And we believe this is a responsible way of letting the general public do their bit aswell.We are open 10am - 5pm weekdays & 10am - 4pm Saturdays. So pop in for a refill with your re-usable drinks bottle. And don't worry there's no charge :-) .

We've been a bit quiet on our facebook page lately.But busy in the shop! :-) . Oh and did we mention that Jack now has 2 gorgeous baby twin sisters :-O . Massive thankyou to everyone who has congratulated us on the new arrivals and to Zoe Jane Richardson and the bear family for our awesome cupcakes from Crumb Creations. We're going to have to add some new yummy's to the menu & name them after Emily & Amelia :-)
