South African Jacques 'The Goose' Gous has worked with Medway Golf Centre business owner Paul Street for over 17 years. Originally from South Africa, the Goose could be found on the fairways of the African Sunshine Tour back in the 1990s along with many other local tournaments.

Jacques took his passion to the UK in the year 2000
where he served as assistant professional to UK Top 25 coach Paul Foston, at Cobtree Manor Golf Club until 2007.

Jacques moved to the Weald of Kent in to become the clubs new head professional, collecting a huge customer base across the Kent area.
Celebrating his 10th year with the club Jacques is a popular character amongst the members and often socialises with the members after competitions and will always offer his best advise.

Back in 2013 Gous found a hunger to travel the golfing world. He did this with the help of golf travel agent - Chaka Travel. Together to this day they take amateur golfers from across Europe to luxurious golf destinations including Mauritius, South Africa, Mexico and more.
