About James & Eloise

Floral Artiste

Henry Beecher once said. .
' Flowers are the sweetest things God created and forgot to put a soul into. . . '
I don't necessarily believe that statement because every time you cut a flower it sings out to you and touches your soul.

James & Eloise Description

I am passionate about all things floral so I have created this page to showcase floral art whether it be through individuals whose work I admire, my work or just because.

If I see articles that I enjoy and think they may be of interest to all you, i'll pop these up.

In the meantime, enjoy!

I wanted to share this video because anyone who knows knows me well will understand how passionate I am about the use of foam and plastic. Alison Ruud from Floral Expression is doing something about it.
I would like all Florists to really think about this video and decide whether you can change? The large conglomerates have it within their power to make a difference however they are stalling. Why?
Let the Florist industry show the way - as we usually do - and be the first industry to be biodegradable friendly.

I can only aspire to the work of Daniel Ost. The only word I can use to describe his work is WOW! Like other Master's, his work is definitely on another level. What do you think?

Today I said Goodbye to my Little Poly Pocket. My mother-in-law who was known as Ma to me. I met her when I worked in a local Supermarket in Eltham. She always asked for one and a half pound of the strongest cheese for her son. I thought that was an excuse because she loved cheese. A few years later I met Brian and I then found out he was the cheese man!
Ma accepted my eccentricities, revelled in my spontaneity - inviting all Brians work mates back home, making sandwiches aft...er getting plastered at his Xmas do - whilst they were in bed.... And kept me in stitches when, after an 18 hr op for mouth cancer, she had a personality transplant; from being a quiet housewife she became comical, giving out her order's and not holding back her views. Contracting Alzheimers however was something she couldn't beat and so, today, we said Goodbye.
I would like to thank Annie Malone, Danny, Charlie (Malone & Co), Sarah Poole, and Caroline Miller for stepping up to the plate and helping me give Ma the send off she deserved.
I hope you'll agree, we did get proud.

Last night I attended the Shorne Village Hall Nafas Demonstration with Helen Hare. Quirky, fun, engaging and talented. Kept us in the edge of our seats with her wit and extraordinary talent. If you get the chance, go see her! What do you think?...

I've been a tad quiet of late due to the passing of my mother-in-law. Having trouble sleeping so I checked into FB and found these. Awesome!
