James Lear of Arundel would like to welcome you to our first shop located in Nailsworth Gloucestershire.
Inspired by a large traditional hard land-working Sussex family of many generations. . . .
The name James Lear of Arundel comes from Harriette's Grand father, Polly's great grandfather who was a cabinet maker and upholsterer alongside his agricultural machinery business, which has influenced the sense of rural British tradition to our products. . . . .
The natural colours of our products and the shop itself, make you feel the craftsmanship of what we are about; earthy, natural and elegantly beautiful.
After spending years living abroad as a family, we have been inspired by items we have accumulated along the way and it has made us even more proud of our British- heritage so we would like to offer you a range of products Made in England, and some possibly inspired by the Continent!
We believe in originality and for every item in your home to have a story behind it and with that we hope you won't find it easy to find our products for sale anywhere else easily.

These are our two trouble makers, mum’s dog looking rather fed up in the shop & my cat causing mischief as always 🐾 🐈 🐕 We welcome dogs with open arms in the shop, although after an accident on a lovely bag we now have to keep a close eye 🙈 They really are mans best friend 🖤
