Would like to say thank you to all the amazing staff on Ward 17 and SCC who have been looking after my dad over the past week. #thejourneycontinues

User

Thank you to James Paget Hospital Ambulance, A&E and Ward 10. My daughter had pneumonia and asthma related problems and she couldn’t even lift her head before the Ambulance came, before we were discharged she was running around Ward 10 dressed like a ballerina from the dress up box, back and forth down the corridor causing mayhem as I’m sure many of the nurses that day will remember.

Once again within a month my husband was brought into The James Paget after collapsing whilst we we out.

We as a family can't praise the hospital enough. The Dr and nurses in A and E , all the staff on EADU and a very special thanks to the Drs Nurses and Domestic Staff on Ward 17 for their care, not only to Frank but to me as well during a worrying time.

My father is currently in James Paget and the staff working with him have been amazing. I live in London and knowing that he is in such good hands really eases my mind. On Monday 30th April my mother left some of my dad's things in a carrier bag in the main reception area whilst she was waiting for her mini cab to take her home. She forgot to pick it up. We called the hospital but it had not been handed in. If someone has it or has found it, could I please ask that you return it to the lost and found for us. She thinks it was a Green carrier bag and it contained his two pairs of glasses in Blue cases, his Philip's electric shave, A clipboard that looks like a draughts board, some knitting with Red wool, crossword books and she's not clear if there was anything else. I would like to think that people are kind to others, especially at times when we have loved ones who are sick and in hospital. Please, please return these items if you have them as they do not mean or have any use to anyone other than my father. Thank you

Last week, I had to go to the James Paget for nose surgery to resolve ongoing sinus issues that made it increasingly difficult to breath through my nose. The staff in the various departments were great and looked after me so well. They deserve all the help they can get. The NHS at it's best. I'm recovering now and had to visit again to see how I was getting on and today I was able to breathe through my nose better than I had before, let's hope this progress continues. Thank you again.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to firstly the paramedics, followed by the team in A&E then onto all the staff in ward 10 for looking after our tiny human so very well. We had fabulous care at every point during our stay, but we are very happy to be home.

User

I ve just spent some time with my granddaughter in the children’s ward I can’t fault it, everyone, consultants, doctors, nurses, cleaners were all so kind and caring and went over and above to look after us Thank you JPH

User

I spent 6 hours over A&E with my 90 year old Nanny last night and i have to say in spite of being very busy and tired everyone we came into contact with was polite, professional and empathetic, couldn’t fault them they do an amazing job and the porter even shared my love of chocolate

User

I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff that I have seen over the last 48hours after going in to daycare and ending up on intensive care everyone I encountered was compassionate and caring the NHS gets a lot of bad remarks but off all the good we are very lucky to have such a service I am now home with my family and that's all done to you all many thanks and keep doing what you do

User

I just want to give I big shout out to the paediatric team both in A&E and the children’s ward! (I’d love to name names but I can’t remember) They have been truly wonderful in treating my son this week. They have shown nothing but care for us as a family and patience with my boy when he’s felt a bit overwhelmed. We all known the NHS is under so much strain. But in our time here you really wouldn’t know. Everyone has really taken their time with any procedures making my son feel at ease. For us as parents nothing was too much trouble the staff have been so supportive with anything! Also the hospital offers faster service and discounts on catering and free parking for parents having a long stay, brilliant idea, takes an extra weight of your mind! Keep up the fantastic work guys!😊

User

I can't thank the staff at James Paget enough for looking after me. A&E staff were under so much pressure but we're so caring and attentive. I was then admitted to Ward 4 and was cared for by all the lovely staff. You are all doing an amazing job under so much pressure. Thank you.

User

I can not thank the staff enough for the care ward 22 gave me . Thank you for every thing .you are amazing wish all hospital was like our fantastic James paget even with all the problems the care never once dropped . Thank you once again proud of our hospital :)

User

Having being to the hospital multiple times over the last few months, i can safely say it is an amazing hospital. I have had lots of procedures and was treated brilliantly everytime. I have being to the hospital today to the ambulatory unit and was treated with great care and consideration. I didnt get the name of the dr who treated me but he was amazing as were all of the team. The lovely man who helped me with my ct scan made me feel at ease and made me laugh.

User

Excellence service from start to finish. I would like to thank the Paramedics, A&E staff & Ward 10 staff for their help and support. My son was rushed in due to a 6 foot fall from a slide. I would highly recommend this Hospital to anyone who has to attend. We are currently on holiday visiting family. We come from Cheshire

User

Amazing care was given to me in a very scary and critical situation the staff were all brilliant from a&e to edau, ward 7, the stroke team, ambulance staff. Very short staffed but this didn’t affect their standard or level of care in any way. They worked extremely quickly in organising a ct scan, bloods, an emergency lumbar puncture done within just over an hour of the decision being made! and every step of the way they were faultless. They work extremely hard in a very difficult environment with staff shortages, many staff not bothering to take their breaks and staying on longer to help out, bank staff weren’t turning up but it didn’t affect their quality of care. I think we should praise our nhs when moral is at a low, they do a fantastic job and deserve recognition for many jobs well done.

User

I have been on ward 4 and I have to say the staff on there were brilliant took care of my every need and supported me. I want to say a special thank you to nurse Jan she couldn't of done more for me.

The only down fall were the doctor who didn't want to listen to me and the poor communication between them!

User

The care you have given to my father is a disgrace. After 6 weeks of him being in your care you have merely compromised his health further. No continuity, no compassion and a serious lack of health care professionals are what your service as a hospital is lacking.

User

Only gave 1 star because you cant give lower! Appalling service, twice two separate people have been booked for surgery, starve then wait all day to be told they cant do the op coz they have over booked ops that day! Disgusting!!! Dont use this hospital if you are needing urgent care you will be better off performing your own operation!!!

User

No compassion for my autistic child and her needs. Wondering why she’s laying on ward 10 with no wrist band, name above her bed and she’s Nill by mouth but nothing to say this. Thought it was compulsory practice. It’s like she doesn’t exist!

They have put her right next to main enternce and reception desk, as you can imagine a child with severe asd and sensory processing disorder this is a delight! 7 hours ago she was admitted. I did suggest taking her home and the nurse said ok then... Lol I am beyond words right now.
