James is 24, born, raised and educated in Gloucestershire, before being drawn to Cheltenham after completing his apprenticeship at 16. He currently works for the local press and has always had an ear to the ground on important local issues. James has always done his best for people from all walks of life in his local area.
His heartfelt youthful enthusiasm compliments a surprising degree of experience which he now wants to utilise to do more to serve you as a Local Borough Councillor.
His passion, energy and determination will ensure that your views are heard at the highest level of Cheltenham Borough Council. As a candidate he has so far lobbied our MP Alex Chalk and County Council group leader, Tim Harmon on important local issues such as elderly social isolation, the protection of green spaces, public parking, youth projects and road conditions in the area.
James’ ambition in local politics is to strengthen the community, create opportunities for all and to make sure that all voices are not just heard, but actually listened to.
