This boy I’ve treated his whole racing life won 3 times last week!!!! A rarity to see a horse win 3 times in succession, never mind 3 times in a week. The amazingly honest Elusif.

An amazing video, my long time client Holly Coetzee, showing the way she does it, with such amazing success. Very inspirational the way she does things, her amazing natural ability as a rider is sublime. What she has done with her horse ‘Connor McCloud’ from a skinny lame horse when I first saw him when Holly was at Hartpury College, to him now being one of the UAE’s top show jumpers is unbelievable. Many others of my Dubai clients in this video.

Hey Guys,
I just want to take this opportunity to thank so many people for the endless amounts of messages and phone calls today, that’s on top of the 9 marriage proposals, 2 of which were even from men hahaha! I feel so lucky to have such amazing people in my life.
The appeal has now been lodged, my local MP’s office has been brilliant and even they are shocked by this and actually found there had been an error made, so if they don’t intervene beforehand, for the first time ...in my life I’ll be heading to court in 3-4 months time.
For now, let’s concentrate on what this page is about, the beautiful horses I’m so lucky and honoured to treat.

One of my beautiful clients Valadom in action yesterday before running a very brave second placing...... 4 racehorses raced yesterday that I treat, for a winner, and 2 seconds.

Possibly my oldest client, Minstral aged 39 years old and an old boy I’ve treated for the past 6 years, and I’ve never seen him looking better, as for me I’m looking bloody old!!!! A massive shout out to everyone in Essex today, fantastic to meet some new clients, and even had lunch cooked at one yard!!!!! Spoilt rotten is I. Now the 3 hour drive home to do it all again tomorrow......

What started as a fairly quiet post Christmas January, has all of a sudden hit with a vengeance, and I’ve got a lot of your messages to catch up on, which will be done tomorrow.
... I have been logistically trying to organise a trip Essex, and have finally pinpointed- 29-30-31 of January.
For those very patient clients of mine waiting I apologise profusely, but have left these dates clear and completely dedicated for a few days in the east.
Tomorrow I’ll be playing a lot of catch up, so I’ll be in touch, or please give me a swift kick up the tail.

I treated this guy when he was a yearling, a cheeky steel grey colt who had just arrived from the yearling sales in Ireland trained by Jeremy Gask. I treated him all throughout his racing life and accidentally treated him one morning, not knowing he was racing that afternoon! He still won...... 9 years later he still going strong in his new life as a show jumper. Amazing seeing my old racehorse clients looking like this in there second career! As he was syndicated to his new owners on Twitter his race name was ‘Trending’.

Sometimes the passing of a horse really hurts your heart. This amazing horse was a part of my past few years, not only as a client, but he would usually be upsides Parker and I team chasing, or seeing modelling photos of him all over the internet and magazines, or the amazing photos of him and his Mum jumping huge spreads without any tack. Such an amazing horse, and when people talk about a bond between Horse and Human, there was none more evident than him and his Mum who loved him so much Sophie Seymour Equestrian. He will be so missed, and sending much love to Sophie, her partner Tom, and dog Ted who loved him so much also. RIP Roo, what a beautiful soul you were.

Hey Guys,
This post is a few years old now from Chiltern Equine Vets, but is still very relevant as new outbreaks are being reported.
As many of you are aware, there is Equine Herpes Virus running rife at the moment.
... The Vets are doing an amazing amount of work to contain this.
I like everyone, has to be so vigilant until this is controlled, so on my days working in what could be ‘affected’ areas, I will only be treating horses on one yard per day in the affected areas.
I beg that if there is one question in regards to yours, or anyone else’s horses health on a yard I’m visiting, to please let me know, be responsible, we will always reschedule.
When these things happen it is not good for anyone, and one feels so sorry for the horses carrying the virus at the moment, but our vigilance will help rectify this as soon as possible.
