So it wasn't my first tattoo, so didn't have 'the fear'!! However if it had been,I would have felt totally at ease with James. I am super fussy when it comes to my tattoos and can honestly say James is a hugely talented artist, but alongside that a really great guy too.

Already booked in for my next piece, which I'm so looking forward to. Studio is clean, not at all intimidating and I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Brilliant. Xxx

Update!!! Just had my second appointment today. I wanted a Peony on my wrist in memory of my grandma. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted, and was a little nervous as it's my first 'visible' piece.

Well, thank goodness it is visible. It's utterly gorgeous and I can't stop looking at it!! Thank you.

James’s design was perfect, I was a little nervous but he made me feel at ease chatting to me the whole time. I love my new tattoo, I can’t stop looking at it! I’m pretty sure I’ve caught the bug and will definitely be back.

I got my first tattoo with James this evening, it is absolutely amazing! He changed my original idea and made it perfect. I can't fault his service in any way, thanks dude! His attitude towards tattooing is so refreshing compared to other places, that paired with his passion is just awesome!

Highly skilled tattoo artist, great experience, at Park Lane Tattoo Studio today with James adding some nice pieces to my little collection.

Having a Japanese sleeve done with James. He puts in so much work into getting you the tattoo that you want. I've even let him play around with colours and I've got a very striking, one off piece. His enthusiasm and pride shone through yesterday when he'd finished my namakubi. My sleeve is now increasing to a chest piece and down one side of my body. Park Lane is possibly the most chilled out tattoo studio ever.It tells a story when customers have followed him from his former place of work even though it can be a bit of a trek. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had piece number 6 with James today. I absolutely love being tattooed by him; no pain and a great laugh. Studio is perfectly designed, not intimidating and a very personal touch. James constantly works with me to get the best design for me (despite some of my slightly bonkers visions!!) and has never once failed. I'm now at the point where I can lie down and let the work be done without even glancing, as I know it will be perfection.

Absolutely incredible artist.

Would never go to anyone else.

Had my first ever tattoo with Jay this weekend so happy with the work he's done, don't think It could have been done any better. He really listened to my ideas which ended in such a good result.

First tattoo after being lucky enough to win the first Park Lane Tattoo Studio competition. Absolutely love the tattoo, James is a top bloke, really easy to get on with and did a fantastic job on it. Got the bug immediately and already planning my second tattoo. I will definitely go back to see James. Thanks mate!

Came in last minute on Saturday to ask about the price of a design... they said I could come in at half 4 the same day and they would do it. Great price, great staff and love how it looks. Such a simple design but looks even better than I thought it would! Thank you, will definitely be back soon.

Amazing! James did my first tattoo and I was super happy with it, but now at Park Lane, the whole experience is even better. The studio is clinical but homely: the perfect mix between sterile and comfortable. The chilled out vibe is perfect for hours under the needle and James is, as always, super talented and a right laugh. Can't recommend this place highly enough and despite the pain, I'm already looking forward to the next!
