Took my mum out for an early lunch yesterday. Got there a little early but was greeted by a lovely gentlemen and ordered 2 lattes (hands down the best lattes). Time for lunch and oh my how the place filled up so fast. We were shown to our table by a lovely waitress who tended to our every need whilst we were there. For starters we had garlic bread and crispy squid which was perfect. For main we had stuffed aubergines and cannelloni al forno with a side of funky chips washed down with homemade lemonade. The food was perfect. Nothing heavy or greasy, just lovely clean flavours and not so overly priced. My only complaint was too much ice in my drink (my fault i know), and mums complaint was that she didn't get to meet Jamie. All in all a lovely experience.

Thank you for a lovely evening to celebrate my birthday. Jonathan and the newest addition to the team (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name) were an absolute pleasure, couldn’t have been nicer. Food was excellent, service impeccable and I got free birthday prosseco and brownie platter. Look forward to returning soon!

I was given a Virgin experience voucher for Jamie's and it was a wonderful gift! I went with my husband and we were both treated really well, very friendly staff. The menu was limited (due to the voucher) but still enough to choose from. The polenta chips are divine! I recomend a meal at Jamie's, certainly we will go again.

I have to say, I was deeply impressed on all levels with my dining experience here last night!

Firstly, the food was some of the best I've ever had in London, which is saying something!

Secondly, I was impressed with the waitress and manager's service at coolly and professionally resolving a particularly anti-social customer! :/

They also split the bill individually in a large group, which is rare for inner city restaurants (in my experience!) (y)

My first 5/5 rating for any restaurant I've attended!

Absolutely delicious. Very tasty food and friendly non intrusive service with a smile. Will come again soon. With friends. Jamie’s never disappoint. It’s a well oiled machine in a nice way. Keep up the good work. Erick the waiter gets full ten points !

First time I've been there. .

Very friendly staff and didn't have to wait long for the food. .which was lovely. .

Waitress really friendly and when we told here about my grandson having a nut allergy. She went above and beyond and explained how his food would be cooked. .

Felt very reassured..

A nice venue with a lively vibe. Our particular waiter was very attentive and the food was great.

The starters were really nice however hugely disappointed with their pizzas ( tasteless and bland). The pasta was edible however portions were small. Not worth for the price you pay. If ordering mocktail be sure to tell them you don’t want too much ice otherwise they will fill the glass to the brim with ice and you will only have like 5 sips of the actual drink!

On first view the staff were friendly. We ordered the food which was lovely but then the service from then on was appalling. The staff were so slow on removing our dishes and after asking if we wished a desert menu forgot to bring it. We waited some time before another staff member asked us the same question. After asking for the bill we again waited far too long to get it. It seems the staff get distracted serving other customers. Wouldn't choose to go back. Far better places to go.

Me and my mum went here for dinner before a show. We walked in and was welcomed by the lady, she told us that it was a 20min wait! Even though thr place had empty seats all over the place and it was that busy. As soon as i told this i told her no we won't be waiting that long, all of a sudden they had a table for us! so i guessing this is a trick to get us to wait at the bar. We ordered and the food came, i was offered extra cheese i said yes please. i also asked for a spoon. she then went off and started to serve other tables (given them extra cheese may i add, while i was waiting!) and walked around the restaurant for a while, all this time my food was getting cold. She then came back standing with her back to us after 10mins. During this time i tried to get other waiters that walked passed me attention, but they jus ignored me. I finally had enough and I actually had to get up and walk over to a waiting explaining i had been waiting while she was just standing there and she just looked at me and said oh!

I was not happy eating semi cold spaghetti. Not a good experience at this brunch, as i have been to others brunches and the service was good.

Disappointing overall. We arrived at 17.30 for a 18.00 table and sat in the bar and ordered drinks; it took 45 minutes for the drinks to be prepared! The food was mixed, one of my sons described his burger as the best he had ever tasted but the other had to send his 'rare' steak back as it was cooked medium. A lot of waiting around and the food on the whole was mediocre

Coffee was lukewarm had to ask for it to be heated up but service was quick to sort it out . Shame about the ladies toilet. 3 out of action, 2 toilet without any paper and one didn't flush that left 1 operational. I did report to member of staff and I saw someone go toilets

Bad customer service, waited an hour for a drink! Gave me my side for my meal 15 minutes before the actual meal. Still waiting for a reply after contacting customer services a week ago. Food was nice.

User

Went there for a family birthday service seemed very off as we arrived pretty late as though we were annoying them as we were going to be staying for a while actually it made my mother uncomfortable and we just ordered a mains and left pretty quickly we have been patrons of the Canary Wharf Jamie's for many years and to be honest it kind of ruined the night we just ate up paid and left overall very upset that a special occasion was dampened not the service we are used to as we have been very long standing Customers of Jamies Italian sorry to give a poor review of an established place as I know it can damage the reputation as a whole but on this occasion I feel that it's justified.

User

Very poor, over priced and completely at odds with what the owner says he stands for. Never again

User

The service and food was of very low standard, I very much doubt that I shall be using that particular Jamie’s ever again, in fact it has completely put me of recommending any of my friends.

Hated? No I can’t say that.. the waitress was very nice, she tried to make us happy.. unfortunately food there is no nice:( shame because I went there with high expectations ... this what been served for me? I can say that even could kill me ,as raw pork can be dangerous :( meat which is served there is no fresh:( been frozen before.. steaks are burnt and bitter .. I really don’t know what to say:( sad because I do like Jamie’s kitchen ... I do not like to complain but believe that they can improve their cooking... I didn’t know where was the problem today but kitchen was very bad today:(
