We really enjoyed our meal at Piccadilly Circus on Wednesday night. It was very busy but staff were friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed his favourite meatballs as a main I had the chicken al mattone which was delicious with my favourite caprese salad on the side.

Another restaurant ticked off in my mission to eat in all Jamie’s restaurants #13 down!!!

Our waitress Misha was friendly. Prawn linguini was delicious, skinny fries were crispy and piping hot so was the garlic bread, all washed down by a nice cold bottle of Pinot Grigio. Service was quick so we were out in plenty of time for our show which was just over the road in the Piccadilly Theatre. Thoroughly satisfied and would highly recommend.

Had the most amazing evening last night food was gorgeous and the service was fantastic! It was our daughters first visit to a Jamie's restaurant and they loved it! Thank you to Bruno for his excellent service and how he looked after all of us! (Especially Daisy) we will be back

Great meal good food and very good service thanks very much as it is not easy given how close you are to all the theatres that are on your foot step to please everyone!!

Amazing amazing! 4 week holiday eating our way around Europe ( Paris, Florance,Venice Genoa, Rome, Milan) and this is place has to be hands down one of our favorite establishments. I had the perfect pasta dish in London haaa!! Great location too. Stumbled across Jamie's when we were heading to the 5 star musical, Strictly Ballroom just ten paces away.

I had the special for lunch....Panfried Cod on a cauliflower purée with minted crushed peas and shaved zucchini for 15 pounds.

It was delicious and served quickly so it didn’t sit around in the kitchen.

Would have been 5 stars but was served on a COLD plate so the puree quickly cooled, wasn’t even lukewarm. This is a quick fix Jamie Oliver, get a plate warmer for your hot entrees.

Also I have to say the broccoli side dish I ordered was overly salty to the point that it killed the taste of the broccoli but was replaced by a rocket and parmesan salad that was delicious.

Service was great and ingredients very fresh

Food was excellent. Service was brilliant but toilets were disgusting.

I went with my friends and we had a 2 course meal, a side and a glass of prosecco for £19.50.

Not many choices on the set meal. Just 4 starters, 4 mains, 3 sides and 4 desserts. But choices were great.

You can have nachos, squid, salad or tomato and mozzarella brucheta to start.

Mains you can have chicken, steak, pasta or hamburger.

Fries, salad and polenta as a choices of sides and few desserts.

Good size of portions.

I highly recommend to everyone

We had the set menu, two courses for a set price. I decided on the main course and dessert as my favourite panna cotte was on the menu. I had steak for the main course which was disappointingly tough and chewy. The mushrooms and fries were very good though. Then time for dessert, only to be told, at this point, that they had stopped doing this dessert since Christmas! If only they had told me at the start I would have selected a starter instead. Had to go with sorbet which was the least disliked. I'm not a dessert eater generally. Such a shame. Wouldn't go again.

The food was A bit disappointing but the waiter who served us, South African, I think was lovely. So bubbly and fun and very helpful. Went out of his way to get us the roast

User

Quite bland. Jamie, just run 2 or 3 good restaurants. Leave it to pizza express and cafe rouge for this everyday grub. You are a fabulous chef and people love your great food, not this boring stuff.

Went for a pre theatre dinner (on Tues 17th July at 6-6.15 pm) and sat at an outside table which meant we had to order at the bar..... that’s when the problems started - only one barman doing drinks orders at a snails pace and under no circumstances was he going to move faster as a queue built up. We waited almost 15 minutes to get served - he had a woman helping but she just wiped glasses and handed him fruit for the drinks....? What is that? I asked two separate people incl booking in person if someone else could serve us or help out behind the bar and both just shrugged and said no. When we finally got our order which incl a bottle of wine they had no wine glasses so after waiting a bit for them to materialise they told us they would bring them outside to us - 10 Mins later no sign and the people next to us even offered their water glasses! I went inside and demanded 4 glasses and they handed me prosecco glasses which I had said I would take in the first place!. Food showed up in 15 mins and was Ok but not great. Staff attitude leaves a lot to be desired they acted like they did not care. Avoid

We decided to eat here because it was directly across the road from the Piccadilly Theatre, where we had book for the 14:30 show of Strictly Ballroom. We were later than we had wanted to be because of being stuck in traffic in the taxi. We had 40 minutes & told the Maitre D' that we did not have a lot of time, would be still be able to get a meal. She said yes, but we would have to wait 10 minutes. We agreed, though there were some empty tables in the restaurant & in the bar area where we could have sat; we could also have ordered while we were waiting to save time, but she seemed too rushed off her feet to listen to us. We were duly seated; had to ask twice if we could order! Our drinks arrived - took longer than it should have; we were about to ask for our drinks bill & walk out when our food arrived, giving us only 10 minutes to eat. The food was delicious; however, the service shocking. I think they were were short-staffed. A pity.

Thoroughly disappointed... went on Saturday night 8pm - should be buzzing with fresh tasty food. Food was abysmal, not even worthy of the back streets of a dodgy resort in Spain... dry, bland, boring. Waste of £50.

User

Staff are very friendly, loved my spicy meatballs. Great place to have food before a show...Don’t go if you want the best food in town, but defo a nice place to relax. There is a lift, a bar and I would ask for a window seat, so you can watch people walk by. The first floor is nice because that’s where the kitchen is and you can watch them cook....Would I go again? YES

So disappointed with our meal here we had a family day trip to London and thought we would give it go. Heard great things about the kids award winning menu and took advantage of the kids eat free offer well I’m glad I didn’t have to pay as it was awful!! Firstly we had to ask for a kids menus after waiting ages it was clear with a toddler and 7 year old it would be needed. Did we get presented with a 3-d view finder and crayons etc for the kids no! We got a folded piece of paper!!!! Then the vegetarian options are really poor one option of gnocchi so I had to ask for just spaghetti with the 7 veg sauce which they gave us just that no cheese no salads no drinks!!! Again we waited and asked and eventually we got 2 salad pots that I wouldn’t give to a guinea pig let alone children the peppers had a almost petrol/chemical taste and finding the heart/stalk of the lettuce was a real bonus! This certainly in my view was not the award winning food I had been promised by Mr Oliver! As for our food we paid £26 for 2 bowls of pasta which resembled 6 pieces of pasta swimming in Campbell’s mushroom soup oh and was lukewarm!!!!! This meal was supposed to have been a lovely treat to top off our family day trip but was quite the opposite I certainly will not be using any branch of Jamie’s Italian again and would not recommend to any friends /family

I took my partner to Jamie's Italian restaurant in Denman Street, Piccadilly yesterday for a pre show dinner as it was his birthday and was hoping for something special, but it was far from that. We had the 2 course set menu, we both had the Fritto Misto which was quite nice although sparse, we had a bottle of sparkling water which was warm, and was not offered ice. My partner had the Carbonara which when it was served looked awful it was dry and was sticking together making it look like it had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be served and yes we sent it back and was served another one which was a bit of an improvement but not great, I paid the extra £3 and had the steak which was some steak and some rocket on a plate not even so much as a mushroom and skinny chips in a pot, the juice that the steak was in was really salty and made it unenjoyable, and by this time I was so disappointed I really couldn't be bothered to complain as I just wanted to leave, it was a cold evening and because the door kept opening we were not able to keep warm. Then to top it all the waiter got the bill wrong and wanted to charge me almost £50 for an unenjoyable meal, another waiter corrected it. So all in all not a good experience and I felt let down for my partner as it was his birthday and I wanted it to be a special occasion, needless to say we will not be returning.

User

Disappointed with both service and food. Not over priced for up London though, so not all bad.

However toilets did also need attention (no toilet paper) and was not particularly busy at time of visit,so no excuse. Wouldn’t rush to go back, if at all.

User

Really bland and uneventful carbonara.

Tiny portions, completely not worth the money spent. Beer taps not working properly, really nice staff however badly trained, no clean glassware, cannot believe Jamie Oliver can put his name to this franchise. Gordon Ramsey needs to come and film Kitchen nightmares to show them how to run a restaurant!

User

Popped in for a drink before heading to the theatre, as clearly stated upon the signage drink at the bar......

stood at the bar for 20 mins and not even a hello from staff let alone a drink... all too busy talk to themselves.... alerted manager who said.... they should be serving you.... well

Obviously!!!!
