As our staff have worked very very hard to make the jam jar the fun place that it is, we have decided they need and deserve some time to go out themselves... So we are closed the following days.
Christmas Eve - closed Christmas day - closed Boxing day - closed
... New year's Eve - closed New year's Day - closed
Every other day open as usual.

It's the Bangers Xmas special Part 2 @ at Jamjar this weekend with DJ Desbo and we are going fully genre fluid for this one and digging deep into the music collection. House, Garage, Hip Hop, D&B, Grime - anything goes!!

Just when you think, can it get any better?... Saturday happened. The most amazing people got together and made a day to remember.. Thanks to Trevor Wyatt, Lucy Freeman, Folkestone Music Town, DJ's Kev Goodwin & Hannah Revill, Seaview Studios and everybody who joined in, performed and supported... Desbo hope you're better... Best night EVER!!!

So this weekend is the Hendrix weekend. We are getting involved from 5pm on Saturday, below are the listings..
17:30 - 19:30 a film about Jimi Hendrix By Joe Boyd and a Q&A session, come early to reserve a seat.*(The famous Joe Boyd will be at the jam jar)*
... 19:30 - 22:00 open as usual as well as a Jimi jam, come and jam and have fun... sing, play guitar and celebrate the legend that is Jimi.
22:00 - 2:00 DJ's Desbo , Rev & Krazy Kev. just having some jam jar fun playing some amazing tunes.
