Jane's Pond Ltd was formed in 1998 and has for 13 years designed and built educational and play environments for Schools, Early Years providers , PC's, and LA's, in the South West. In the past 3 years, Jane's Pond Ltd has worked on 30 Public Play Spaces in 4 Local Authorities. Our designs offer excellent play value, are sustainable and practical to build and maintain, are cost effective and offer excellent value at every level. The built and natural environment affects how people feel and behave. If one creates an attractive space that stimulates the senses and provides a variety of opportunity on different levels with textures and non prescriptive play opportunities then all users will find enjoyment, challenge and relaxation in the space. Our designs use natural features such as grassy mounds, planting, rocks, sand if suitable for the site and logs as well as well chosen play equipment. We select the play equipment based on its play and sociability value when compared to cost, and like basket swings, zip wires, spinning bowls and slides. Additionally we create bespoke timber play structures that combine fireman's poles, ropes, nets, slides, ladders and climbing holds.
