Janet Mindfulness Description

Mindfulness meditation classes in Oadby, Leicester. 8-week small group courses in mindfulness with a free, no-obligation initial meeting.

The course is led by Janet Hales, a trained mindfulness meditation tutor who is a member of the Mindfulness CIC teaching team (http://www. mindfulnesscic. co. uk /index. php), who work all over the UK and in Europe and Australia. She is also a qualified adult education teacher.

The course includes teaching, guided meditations, discussion, lots of opportunities to ask questions and the opportunity to share your experience with others if you want to, and to learn from theirs. There will also be a chance to chat over tea and biscuits.

Regular practice of mindfulness meditation has been shown to have many benefits, such as:
- stress reduction
- lowered blood pressure
- improved ability to manage difficult situations
- increased focus and attention span
- improved emotional intelligence
- increased emotional resilience
