In a great part of the village.

Stopped here by chance on the way back from the Scottish Borders. Thought it was great - the food was all freshly made on the premises, and was pretty inexpensive. Well worth a visit.

Myself and my partner call into Jans Kitchen most weekends and we have never been disappointed. We are always met with great customer service and really enjoy the home cooked food on offer. Thanks Jan

Lovely cafe. A favourite with cyclists, walkers and anyone who loves good English traditional cafes. Jan and her staff are always sweet and cheese scones are to die for :-p

Jan did the buffet for my sons 18th party it was absolutely fantastic everyone commented on how delicious it was, lush bacon and sausage sarnies went down a treat thank you Jan will recommend you to everyone

Had an amazing jacket potato with cheese beans and salad and choc cake as takeout yummy!!

Excellent place. Staff are friendly and polite and the sandwiches are stuffed full. We come every week now- it’s ysually very hard to get a table for 3 but it’s worth waiting for!

Excellent food and caters for restricted diet. Great atmosphere and the staff are wonderful and very friendly and welcoming. Also used Jan for outside catering and I can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely love this place lovely friendly staff use to always pop in for tea before work must say I will miss this but I shall pop in if in area just to say hello and have one your lovely cuppas xx

Like this place for a nice cup of tea and good service from the front of house staff, did want an egg sandwich at lunch time but was told the kitchen is too busy? Apart from that issue I still enjoyed my visit, the staff made it

Great for a quick lunchtime bite

We called in yesterday around 3pm to be met by a very sour attitude from one of the girls not only was she unpleasant to us she was unpleasant to the other girl serving she brought over some of our order and slammed it down on the table and as we were eating at 3.30pm 3 women came in and she scowled and told the girls to say 'we don't have hot food' would have been more professional if not done in front of other customers her attitude was appalling that said the food was delicious and very well presented and the other girls were very approachable and polite
