Jar of Arts reuses old glass jars to make stylish and unique lanterns and candle or tealight holders. They are fantastic as gifts, garden decorations, or table decorations for weddings, christenings and all your special occasions.

We also make wine glass charms and design and hand paint a variety of glass products including champagne glasses and sweet jars. Every one of our beautiful products is unique and hand decorated - we're able to make bespoke decorated jars with your own personal message too.

Jar of Arts is the brainchild of Julie McGregor, a mother and wife with a very creative streak. All of our beautiful products are hand-decorated by Julie and are as unique as she is - bespoke designs are her speciality. Talk to her about what she can do for you.

About recycling

Glass recycling is the process of turning waste glass into other products - whether it's used as it is or it's made into another glass product. Every metric ton of waste glass recycled into new items saves 315 kilograms of carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere during the creation of new glass.

Where do we get our jars from?

All our jars were once filled with jam or cooking sauce or coffee - normal jars that you'll see lined up on a supermarket shelf or in your cupboards or fridge. We get them from our friends and neighbours and we make them pretty.
