When I walked into Jazz After Dark for the first time,I felt right at home, great music, great people,a very kind staff that goes to great lengths to make your night one to remember. If you're an Amy Winehouse fan this is the place to be.Sam Shaker, who was a very close friend of Amy's will let you see her VIP room and his amazing paintings are for sale if you enjoy the beauty of art. This is a true gem in Soho, great musicians are always on stage night after night.I am counting down until when I make my return.Such a friendly vibe here,go check it out for yourself <3

What a little gem of a place. A lovely atmosphere, great history. Probably not for people who are to up themselves. Food was nice drinks were reasonable for London...we will be back we loved it.

We had a great time there to ended up perfectly our week in London. The band was very good , and the people very nice.

Pub, Eaterie and Jazz cafe with a warm friendly atmosphere. Some very soothing musicians take to the small stage of an evening, entertaining the small crowds enjoying the unique ensemble. Adorning the walls it has the most brilliant artwork of Amy Winehouse and Kate Moss all painted by the owner Sam.....Jazz after dark is most definitely one of Soho's best kept secrets.

Our 2nd visit to this venue and we can't wait to visit again. The band were excellent and played through the night untiil the early hours.

There was a great atmosphere and the staff were great.

Well worth the visit, great start to our weekend in London

Love the place. Been a few times now. Perfect way to spend the small hours. Especially if we can get in the little booth by the stage. Perfection

I was in "Jazz after" one year ago and I still remember the stunning time I spent over there.

The atmosphere, the food, the music is all so reasonable, magical and great !

This place is inspiration for me!

I'm already planning on coming back next month to London and go back to this magical place!! highly recommended!!

I had a fabulous night there , when I went to hear Eleanna sing . The ambiance was lovely and intimate . Eleanna made everybody feel welcome and her talent is amazing . They got the crowd involved and we were able to ask For what songs we would like to hear . I really recommend going to see Eleanna , great talent and a fun night .

God-awfully perfect slice of old Soho. Quirky shabby-chic kitsch and cosy waiters-on reminded me of my mum.

Loved the in your face cabaret style solo singer who was full force and such fun!

Got a surprise spring roll hidden in my French fries, but didn't go for the food.

Everyone was having a blast and dancing singing and loving it.

Leave your pretensions at the door with the friendly bouncer and a £5, and step in for high-end salt of the earth Soho I thought had long been driven out by Pizza Express and Trusthouse.

Going back next Tuesday for more dancing on the slightly wobbly tables!

Fantastic place. Staff are so lovely and attentive. Lovely to see how personal it is to Amy. Will 100% definitely be coming again next time I am in London. I'd be there all the time If I lived in the city!

Always visit with friends when I'm down from Scotland, fantastic atmosphere, great music, nice drinks and just very friendly welcoming place, not to mention the history, legend & great artwork - always look forward to the next visit, just wish it was a little closer to where I live, love what you guys have there, gem of a venue 👍

Absolutely amazing club! Food not good but it was cheap and filled a hole! The band was absolutely amazing! Atmosphere was rocking! The drinks were reasonably priced fot london! The service was good! Absolutely amazing night and would recommend to anyone that loves jazz as much as me

A unique venue brimming with personality. The kind of establishment that’s being driven out by the corporations. Soon you’ll have to fly to Barcelona to find somewhere as individual as this. You can even find a night Katherine Ellis is performing!

User

Seemed like a great little place, but on arrival was told on the door we could 'only stay for one drink' as there was live music on. Which seemed weird as surely you would want to encourage customers if you have music on! Inside the atmosphere was great, not too busy (but if you're turning away customers...) and our cocktails were fabulous!

Again staff seemed very keen to get us out and encouraged us to settle our one drink tab... would have liked to have stayed longer and enjoyed the music, but didn't feel welcomed to. Perhaps another time, if we find ourselves your way when visiting London we shall try again....
