Italian-born Renato D’Aiello is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music where he was mentored by Steve Grrossman and Tony Scott. After touring the world with Art Farmer he settled in London in 1999. He is now a major presence on the UK jazz scene as an educator and regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s.
“D’Aiello’s weighty, behind-the-beat sound shows how a poetic imagination can rekindle a long-gone style without nostalgia …” John Fordham, The Guardian
Renato D’Aiello will be performing with the Andy Urquhart Quartet

Prefect place for Jazz cafe by the golden sand beach it makes me feel happy Lovely food, hot drink wine or ice-cream Relax, (swimming in every summer or bring our dog for a walking) Sometimes I bring some friends

User

One of my favourite dog friendly places.

Lovely place to pop in for lunch & a coffee ☕️with the dogs 🐶 😊

Staff really friendly & welcoming 😊

User

Great food, great ambiance! Dog friendly too! The jazz in the background really gives this cafe a little extra!

It’s right on the beachfront too which is a plus! We stop here every year and it never disappoints!

User

Been visiting for years, always a lovely place, in the winter months the real fire is cosy, plenty of choice, especially like the hot chocolate with whipped cream. Fab sea views, great outdoor sitting, dog friendly. A firm favourite of ours. Staff go out of their way to be friendly. Great seaside decor.

User

Always enjoy the food and love the setting, close to the beach. Shame about the drinks being so pricey £7.50 for a rum and coke :(

User

Very friendly staff and good food / drinks. Not cheap but prominent position with nice view. Recommended.

User

Although the restaurant had clearly been very busy and the cafe was about to close, a kind member of staff took pity on us and let us and the dog in for a life saving cup of coffee after our long chilly walk along the beach. First class coffee and excellent service. Many thanks.

User

We went for a late Breakfast Sunday 15th April as the weather wasn’t that great

The food was Great The Staff very friendly Unfortunately Dogs are allowed to come in And due to the weather the place was extremely Busy with people and their dogs

I love dogs have had a few myself But don’t want to be surrounded by wet barking dogs while I am eating

Felt like we were on a farm

Extremely noisy We ate our cooked breakfast as quick as we could and left

Not relaxing as we hoped

Best go when the weather is nice

Our first time at Jazz Cafe after a cold walk. A welcome fire and music playing added to the ambience of this place. We had a Sunday roast and my husband had noticed the burgers!!! Wasn’t too long queuing and found a seat pretty quickly. We ll be back 👍👏🏻

User

I regularly visit on the weekend with a friend and our three dogs. Sometimes we have breakfast and always coffee. We always find a friendly welcome and good service. The food is good rather than great but on the whole they do a good job at dealing with the high volume of customers.

User

Had breakfast yesterday with 3 friends. Ordering was so very slow. (and we only had two customers in front of us! By the time we were served there was a very long queue indeed!) Would make better customer experience for orders to be taken and whilst other staff make the drinks orders up as in other more efficient cafes! Servers were pleasant. There were a few servers with trays wondering around doing hardly anything whilst the counter staff were doing a friendly but very slow job. Food cooked well but a few things wrong with the order. Ambience was great. Will come back though as the menu was interesting /well designed (breakfast)and it is dog friendly.

User

Very disappointed. The prices do not reflect the level of service or food quality.

Long queue to order food (table service would be expected from somewhere like this) whilst staff are mingling amongst themselves not doing much. Drinks aren't brought to table either.

'Big boy' breakfast had only one rasher of bacon. The eggs benedict was acceptable.

It feels as though Jazz Café Sandbanks are trading off the back of being located in Sandbanks. Their level of service/fayer sadly falls short.

User

This place needs a definite makeover, tired & tatty. Had lunch today, last time for me - awful service, miserable staff & to top it all I ordered a Chicken Cesar Salad & they had run out of Parmesan Cheese so they smothered it in olives I hate olives

User

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning...very disappointed. I ordered eggs benedict...eggs were like bullets and everything was swimming in hollandaise - I was waiting for the waitress to come back to our table to ask if everything was ok, she didn't appear. we decided to leave but not before using the toilets...they were filthy. not impressed at all and I have been to Jazz Café on numerous occasions.

User

We lined up to place our order at the bar and it took 25 minutes to be served... the que was so big surely management would look at this and do things differently. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was so try it looked like bread! I sent it back to the kitchen and didn’t see anyone else no money back no apology nothing so I paid £12 for a salad i didn’t eat and could have had something less dry and burnt in a petrol station. I won’t be going back EVER

User

Visit on 4th Feb 18 ..... Just gone down hill staff are so miserable not even a smile. Tables out side filthy had to wash my own table with a wet wipe rubbish all over the floor outside the cafe staff just walked over it.

Over priced

Wouldn't recommend

User

To be quite honest I wouldn't even give it 1 star.

Waited ages for drinks order, then again for our food order to be taken

Dad's muscles dish was practically put in his lap as the lid of the dish went flying.

I order the £19 steak and chips ( cooked well done) this was placed in front of me with the steak so red and bloody it was basically still breathing on the plate.

When we put this up with the manager we said that we would not be paying for this dish at the end, he then tried to butter us up saying we could have a pudding.

Which I refused.

How can you so monumentally screw up a £20 dish and then think that it will be made right with a pudding!

So very very disappointed!

Manager tried to blame the new chef- surely it will say on the slip that I ordered well done steak and yet it was let out of the kitchen like that by whoever checked on it before it left the kitchen.

So let down by a place that has been on the beachfront for so long

Sort it out before you end up closing down through bad business

User

Horrible food, the «charcoaled» chicken with the nachos was reheated and probably from the fridge, bacon on burger wad cold and tasted like it was left over from the breakfast meny, same bacon was served cold with the ceasar salat. Very disappointing!

User

Crap service for the price. Stood in queue for 25 minutes to order a coffee and a soda. Waitress didn’t even know how to pour a fizzy drink! For these prices they should be serving you at the table. Cashing in on people wanting somewhere to sit near beach.
