JCW Bears and Furry Friends became a full time business in the year 2000, I am a self taught Artist and have been very creative in art for over 27 years, which include all types of hard and soft sculptures, drawing and painting, sewing soft toys, home furnishings and designing my own teddy bear, dog, cat and other wooden patterns. I specialise in commissions, undertaking soft sculptured pet memorials, along with working on a wide selection of famous character dressed teddy bears, realistic dogs, cats and other wooden animals which I show and sell at two major teddy Bear shows at Hugglets in London every year. I also receive commissions through my website from all over the world. I have won numerous Awards for my work. I have also been approached by TV companies and stage production organizers to supply them with realistic dogs on three occasions for their show. Even the Paul O' Grady show where I made a dressed bear to look like Paul holding his dog Buster, both pieces appeared on his show!
