Happy 60th Birthday to my dad Chris Jeckells. Have a fantastic day... you thought you could have a quiet day😂😂!!!!

Following last week's post, we sent an invoice for a shade sail that had been cleaned to one of our new customers and got this response:-

I emailed 3 sail makers. Jeckells were the only ones to reply.
I took the sail down there today. When they heard how far I’d driven, they did it while I waited, which was unexpected but very welcome. It means instead of waiting a week or two, and worrying about being in for a delivery (or repeating a 5 hour round trip) I’ve had the job done and got the sail laced back onto the yard all in one day. I’m over the moon.
I dealt with you personally by phone and email, and spoke face to face with a young woman in the office, and with three chaps in the workshop. Everyone was friendly, professional and good humoured, and the job was done neatly. It was excellent service from start to finish.

We don't just make sails for boats - this one was made recently for the guests to sign at a 100th birthday party!

We are just back from Scotland's Boat Show at Inverkip Marina where we were immensely proud to see Taeping all lit up displaying www.jeckells.co.uk on her sail cover.

Chris Jeckells, our MD, giving a talk about the history of Jeckells at Scotland’s Boat Show in Inverkip Marina yesterday. We will be here the rest of the weekend so why not pop and see us where you’ll be assured of a warm welcome and a competitive quote.

This photo was recently emailed to us by a customer under the heading ‘100% Jeckells’ as he sailed south past the island of Eigg in the Scottish Hebrides.

One of our more unusual jobs! We recently made a replacement hammock for the Out There Forest School. The photo shows some of the residents enjoying it. www.outthereforestschool.co.uk

We recently made some large white mesh circles on behalf of a London Creative Agency called Wonderland for a beach party in Cannes. We also supplied the rigging. These pics show them being assembled at a staging company in Billericay and the end result.

The new Jeckells/Landamore trophy which was presented yesterday by Chris & Fiona Jeckells and Patricia Landamore for the Guest invitation race of the Yeoman Nationals at NBYC. Congratulations too to our very own Richie Dugdale for crewing the boat that won the whole weekend!
