We love the school holidays but sometimes they do feel 92 years long and we can't understand how it's still July... So here's a quick one to entertain the kids!
Send them out into the garden to collect leaves, twigs and rocks to build a fairy house. Then let them get creative, stacking up the items in a reused jar before popping it in the garden. They may be waiting a while for an actual fairy to visit, but they'll likely find a bug friend or two makes it their home.

They're perfect to add a little sparkle and magic to any picnic or outdoor lunch. Simply cut the tops off some strawberries to create a flat base, pop them on top of marshmallows and add small dots of icing to the strawberries.

Ask His or Her Royal Highness to choose their favourite colour card, cut this into a strip and create a design at the top of one side (top Jellysqueezer tip: try drawing this on in pencil first).
Now it's time to get creative! Gather all your craft supplies - felt tips, markers, jewels, stickers and more. When the art is finished, bend the card into a sphere and secure with glue!

Make your own rice crispy blocks by melting marshmallows and butter in a pan, add in some rice crispies and give them a good mix and lay them in a tray to set. You might want to pop them in the fridge so they cool quicker! Then cut them into different shapes and add a pretzel stick to finish. ... Magic!

It's easy, you can even use some leftover tubs/paper cups if you have some in the cupboard. Pop in some seeds (sunflower seeds work really well), a little bit of soil, and then watch the stalks grow. If it's well-watered and kept in the sunlight you'll see it grow healthy and tall - although we can't promise it will reach the clouds! ☁️

Those pesky pixies have been sneaking around the snack cupboard again, but they've left us with the best idea for a tasty treat!
