Thank you so much to Jess at JXF photography for taking some cracking photos at Saturdays clinic. I just love these shots - even when most seem to be of my backside πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ˜
I hope you all enjoyed receiving some too.
Jess has agreed to attend the Glen Farm Clinic on Saturday 18th May too so make sure you book in if you want some more of these great photos.

What we do for the love of our horses!
So today I took Birdie to the river for the first time. I knew this may be a challenge as she is not even keen on puddles, but with friends in tow to help I thought we could conquer most things! It appears that our ridden trust is not quite there yet (we had several spinning and bunny hop tantrums!) however leading her in was fine πŸ™ˆ
Once a little way down the river I did get back on and she was fine and actually quite chilled. Also felt ...amazing afterwards.
Isn’t it typical of friends though to take pictures of your downfall and not when I was actually back on board πŸ™„
Thank you ladies for a lovely and eventful hack. I would do it all again though. Love this little mare 😍

A fab day today with another great lesson at Ben’s where I think we are finally making some progress. #youngsters #moreselfies #redfaced
Then had a top to toe physio session with the lovely Clare at The Balanced Rider who always helps to put me back together so well. My shoulders feel like they are a foot lower, my neck actually turns from left to right and my lower back now has some movement again πŸ˜²πŸ€— #lovecupping #loveacupuncture #crazyhorsehair

Really good pole work clinic with a lovely group of ladies and clear instruction. Thank you!

My daughter recently had a lesson with Jennie. As the lesson progressed I could see my daughter relax and she and her pony were working brilliantly together. Jennie is very calm and knows how to bring out the best in both rider and horse. We are looking forward to the next lesson this weekend!

User

Just finished the 8 week BHS Essential Horse Knowledge Certificate (Entry Level) that Jennie has run and cannot recommend this course enough - so much so I'm signing up to do EHKC Level One.

There was a great mix of practical and theory with the help of a very patient Danny (Jennie's noble steed!). Great in answering questions (related and unrelated) and a friendly and encouraging learning environment - can't fault Jennie's delivery of the course. Must also say all at the yard were the course is run were very welcoming.

User

Jennie's lessons are relaxed and knowledgeable. Jennie is quick to get to the root of a problem and uses a variety of techniques to help horse and rider. I can see an improvement after just a few sessions. Thanks Jennie :)

User

Jennie is an amazing, patient and thorough teacher. I have just completed the Essential Horse Knowledge Certificate Level 1 course with her. A very relaxed way to learn over tea and cake in the yard kitchen, with the gorgeous Danny as a very accommodating, live model when needed.

No question is treated as stupid, just patiently answered in a way that's easy to understand.

I'm hoping to do lots more with her (if she'll have me!)
