I run a private practice from Cottingley Consulting rooms, close to Bradford and Bingley off the A650, with easy access from most areas of West Yorkshire. There is ample on-site parking and friendly reception staff to welcome you. I also work from a Halifax counselling centre, a short walk from the train station and where there is on-street parking.

I work extensively with adults, couples and young people (aged 10 + ) and have many years’ experience counselling in schools and several counselling centres. The support I offer can be short or long term, depending on your requirements, and something we can discuss in our initial session. An alternative is a telephone session. Some of the issues people often seek support for are:

- bereavement or loss
- family and relationship breakdown
- low self esteem / confidence
- anxiety
- stress
- parenting issues
- communication and conflict resolution

I am a fully qualified counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I currently work for Relate and in private practice.

My work is carried out adhering to the BACP Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines, involving regular supervision and continuing Professional Development courses. Professional indemnity insurance is with Towergate Insurance.
