Have you ever wanted to learn how to make your very own luxurious bespoke Christmas wreath to adorn your front door over the festive season? Jenny Roberts Millinery are offering a unique Christmas wreath workshop at our Millinery studio in all its twinkling and festive glory, off Cold Bath Road in Harrogate.
The workshops will run from Monday 3rd December through to Friday 14th December (except Sunday 9th) from 10am – 12noon or from 1-3pm (evening workshops available on reque...st) for small groups of 6-7 and costs £55 per head. To book please contact us on 01423 816511 or email Jenny@jrmillinery.co.uk
Materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary as Marie and Jenny provide step by step demonstrations as well as personal tuition to produce the perfect truly unique holiday wreath; Marie’s floristry background includes the accolade of winning a Gold for her floral designs at Chelsea Flower Show so expect to create something really special.
The workshop will address wiring techniques, examples of finished wreaths and the various styles that can be achieved. Participants can choose between making a traditional or contemporary wreath which will include a variety of foliage, fir cones, lotus pods, cinnamon, limes, whole oranges, twigs, pheasant and peacock feathers, cut feather mounts, roses, thistles and hydrangeas and plenty of other quality materials. Spend time with like-minded people whilst learning a new skill. Take some time out for yourself – come alone or with a friends and have some festive fun with us! We promise you an enjoyable workshop full of ideas, trade secrets and inspiration. There will be plenty of instruction, help and encouragement and of course lashings of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and Christmas Fayre for your delight. And to chase those winter blues away and reward ourselves for our industrious endeavours, there will be a glass of Mulled Wine at the end of our session.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day with Jenny and it was like being in Aladdin's cave with all the beautiful hats to give you inspiration. The day went by so fast because I was enjoying it so much and Jenny could not have been more helpful. Cannot wait to do another course as there is so much more to learn - I now sit and dream of making more hats, I have wanted to do millinery for years but never found classes and decided it is never too late to find things that you love to do.

I love my hat and thank you so much to Jenny who made the whole experience a real pleasure, it wasn't just about choosing a hat she really helped with styling advice and it was more about the whole outfit. Thank you too for the last minute alteration to the band to suit my new hair colour! Looking forward to seeing you again when I have another occasion coming up xxx
