Hi apologies for lack of updates. As you may all know the railway is a long way off from opening to the public on a regular basis but is open upon special request depending on weather and availabilty. Please contact The Exodus Project for more information.
A big thank you to all that came to ride on the railway today. The unofficial open day has been hailed a success despite dissapointing passenger numbers. We did a bit of free driving experience with a couple of Kidz Klub girls as it was so quiet towards the end of the event. Good morning everyone. You may have read that today is an unofficial open day, apologies for this as it's actually our official opening to the public! Intensive train rides 11-4pm hauled by our battery powered Diesel engine "Seagull no. 5," Fresh from a re-paint into red. Our Steam Outline engine No.53 "Isaiah " is still awaiting a new motor unfortunateley which means it's unable to run at all but will be on static display. Rides are free but donations are welcome. We hope you can join us.
A Holiday club from Hemsworth visited the railway on Wednesday 7th August. Our battery operated Diesel engine "Seagull", fresh from a re-paint into bright red, awaits departure.

Apologies for lack of updates. Some of you may know already but the Railway will be officially opening to the public on Saturday 17th August 2013 in conjunction with an Exodus Project openn day. Time TBC. Our Diesel electric Loco "Seagull." will do the honours sporting her new livery/colour. Intensive service all day along our temporary 50 metre line. Our Red (Soon to be Green.) steam outline "Isaiah"may be back in service too but this is subject to a motor replacement.
For those who are attending the Birthday party this afternoon, our Diesel-electric loco "Seagull" developed a minor fault yesterday. It is being investigated and while it is unknown whether we can run as planned yet our engines will be out on display outside our new engine shed.
The first 3 panels of track have been laid. One of our engines has had a very short but succsessful test run so we should be up and running for the first time at our new base at Jenny's Field (South Hiendley) on Friday at a private event weather permitting .
