We were so glad we found this little gem. Super cute and quaint and great scones to boot. Ditch Betty's and head to Jenny's.. you won't be disappointed.

User

We love this tea room; it is our preferred place to eat when we visit Harrogate. The food is excellent and the staff are very welcoming and obliging.

We had a very lovely afternoon tea at Jenny's yesterday. It's a small, quaint hidden gem of a teashop, just of the beaten track. It was filled to bursting with customers when we arrived and a table for 2 was reserved in the window for us. We enjoyed a choice of sandwiches from the menu, a scone each plus 2 choices of cake. We chose: chocolate and beetroot cake, lemon cake, a brownie and flapjack. My husband doesn't drink hot drinks and was offered a cold drink instead which was great . I on the other hand , enjoyed an earl grey tea drunk out of a vintage teacup. I thoroughly recommend visiting Jenny's before visiting other teashops in Harrogate, it's great value for money, has a great menu and offers buckets of charm. Just remember your cash as they don't have a card machine.

Tucked away but definitely a beautiful little vintage place. Lovely food and service. Well worth a visit

User

Such a gorgeous little tea shop hidden away . Lovely good quality lunches, snacks , cakes etc . Service is very welcoming . Really enjoyed our lunch

User

Seeing the queues for Betty’s tea rooms decided to look for another equally nice place.....we weren’t disappointed! Fab fab fab and delicious freshly made sandwiches with a lovely pot of tea. All served in lovely vintage china. A little diamond. Plus friendly staff of course!

User

Really lovely tea shop.

I had the coffee and walnut cake. Delicious!

Lovely staff . We will be back. When we visit from Ireland again

User

My partner and I had searched the internet for somewhere to have an afternoon tea. Jennys had good reviews and seemed a little quirky so we decided to go along. We are so glad we did. The sandwiches were delicious, cheese scones were light and full of flavour, coffee and walnut cake was superb and the flapjack was perfect. A large pot of tea completed our wonderful experience. All served on vintage crockery by a friendly waitress. Excellent service and highly recommended.

User

Me and two friends called on Saturday for Afternoon tea our aim was Bettys but so glad we ended up here

Lovely, quaint little tea shop in the heart of Harrogate.

It may be tiny but a good variety of quality food . I recommend the quiche.

Excellent service from very friendly staff.

User

Lovely little tea room, we had the afternoon tea which was 1/4 of the price Bettys charge but just as nice- proper cakes service was really good and staff so friendly :)

User

Lovely little tea room, friendly staff that were very accommodating for our little one which I appreciate homemade quiche was stunning and a slice of lemon cake to die for !! Would definitely go there again next time we visit Harrogate

Found this place few years ago while.going to wedding, then stumbled on it again yesterday. My friend & I where at the christmas market & went for a wander around. So pleased that managed to find the place again, what a hidden gem, staff so welcoming much prefer the atmosphere to the hustle & bustle of Bettys & with no queuing

User

Fabulous!!! The food is all homemade and very tasty. Staff are very friendly, helpful and natural in their manner. The tea shop itself is very quaint. Great value for money. Wish we had discovered Jenny's Tea Shop earlier in our holiday. Would love to come back😀

As a family we preferred Jenny's Tea Shop to Betty's.

Absolutely beautiful place, service by Louise and food. A REAL hidden gem. Gorgeous quaint little setting with vintage decor, and food is generous, homemade and fantastically delicious. We couldn't finish it and got a doggy bag. No probs with tastecard, so pleased we left a tip. Defo do NOT miss this place when in Harrogate!
