Very clean and comfortable,i've stayed there many times and can't fault it,staff very pleasant and helpful and the food is lovely,beds are comfy too.

I stayed over the 5th Sept. to the 6th and I had a most memorable stay over at this venue. Robert the Hotel Manager is the most fantastic person I ever have met in a Hotel/Restaurant enviroment. even the kitchen was closed already at 9.00 pm he fixed me a nice and tasty dinner. thumbs up Robert .... you are the best ..... 800 year old building very quaint, enjoyed stay will come again.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely one night stay. We had been to the Blenheim flower show. We initially drove past as we didn't realise the car park was across the road . We were welcomed and shown to our room. We had a kingsize bed ,a settee and tv in our quite large room. It was in the back of the hotel so could not hear any traffic noise.

We ate in the hotel I had the belly pork and my husband the grilled chicken both were delicious. There was not an extensive menu but adequate . The breakfast too was good .

The hotel was close to lots of places we wanted to visit Blenheim Palace ,Bicester village and Oxford . We would certainly stop there again.

Great food, great very friendly staff, excellent food, small but comfy rooms

Reasonable service at breakfast and dinner time. Relatively clean room. Excellent bed. Comfortable stay.



Concerns: "Please make up room sign left on door after service". No power point above desk. Chair too low for desk. Road side room - road noise. Bar equipment noisy. Poor phone signal. Radio left on in locked up bar area could be heard in room after midnight. Hotel not manned at night. Limited breakfast choice. No porridge.

Poor interpretation of food order to kitchen resulting in unwanted chips, oily salad dressing. alongside the meaty. No fresh veg. No beakers for water except cracked plastic disposable. Luke warm water in bathroom. Current patrons joined only recently. Friendly and thoughtful, keen to improve overall quality. Overall quite good.
