We have visited a couple of times now and ordered different dishes from the menu. The food has always been fantastic and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The service and all of the staff have always been very welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit

Visited Friday evening with the U13's Rugby boys and parents. The welcome was warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Will definitely go again. Thanks to those who organised it and those who cooked and served it.

Too Say that this place is in the middle of nowhere on the A64 between Scarborough and York it takes some beating!!! I have always been weary of road side dinner, guess its the stigma attached to truck stops and greasy spoons...... but say sat i was extremely impressed with the recent make-over is quite a understatement. lavish toilets, supple leather couches, extravagant interior. To top it all the buffet menu priced at £11.99 per person is ridiculously cheap. I presumed that the menu would be limited and basic............ oh NO poppadoms and home made chutney lime pickle rita and onion mixes.. followed by a mixed sizzling platter consisting of tandoori chicken, chicken filet tikka, fish rosti potato, and keema sausage. By this point i was already full before managing to squeeze a bit of everything from the "all you can eat" buffet bar which had 2 different rices and 12 different curry dishes ranging from mild to hot along with vegetarian options spinach fish and paner to name a few. I am only sorry that i couldn't demolish the naan breads that where freshly baked Peshawar kemma, garlic, and a new one to me cheesy garlic naan. Thanks so much for your hospitality as that was also second to non OUTSTANDING!!!

The staff are brilliant they can't do enough for you especially Farah. Our food was lovely didn't wait long for it to arrive, they don't pester you whilst your eating and your not sat with dirty plates in front for long. Drinks come out fast aswell. We love it here well worth the trip out.

User

Thanks guys for beautifully prepared food and friendly attentive service. A great evening made better by dining with you.

What a waste of money!

6 of us visited last week. Popadoms and naan were the highlight of the visit! The buffet was not great at all. Very little left and the Korma was Pink which I've never seen before! Whilst helping ourselves we saw a kitchen staff member sat on the work side with colleagues surrounding him with his mobile phone. Lovely think food is prepared on the same worktop as a backside has been!!!!

Chips were ordered and not received.

I can safely say I won't be returning and think I can speak for the other 5 that we're with me!

Having driven past it a number of times, eventually decided to give the buffet a go last night and will definitely not be returning, the food and service both were awful! In a group of 8, they started off with about 15 poppadums with only one pickle tray which still looked promising until it was followed by two small grills of starters containing 70% pakoras with next to no chicken or lamb! The mains were so bland that we had to put in a handful of salt to give it taste of any sort, the rice were clearly old and yet they had the audacity to charge us for the 5th naan bread in a buffet and to finish it off there were no desserts! Having eaten all over the north, it is safe to say that it is the worst buffet I've ever been to! Avoid at all costs!

User

Had £50 voucher which i got from groupon, but was not allowed to order majority of the food on the menu if i did there would be an extra charge.

What am i supposed to use £50 on?

Food was supposed to be fresh as we ordered from the al carte menu but they served us food from the buffet which wasn’t fresh, cold and had no taste to it. Would defiantly not recommend and will never go again.

Therefore do not order the groupon deals they offer as they will try to rip you off!!
