This is my cat Rocher, he is quite old now (15 years) and he is a Russian Blue.
When I have some time, I do like to submit my images towards different awards to make sure I keep pushing my skills and artistic side of my photography!... I am also a member of BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) and hold a LBIPP from there. In simple terms it means that I consistently reach professional standard with my photography. So you can be reassured that the work I produce for you as a client, reach very high standard in the industry.

I hope you are having a good long weekend?
I have been catching up on my editing and today doing a few jobs at the studio. Then later I will be going for a walk with my husband. I very busy two weeks is coming up with more clients then usual ( I try not to take more than 5 pet portrait session and 5 viewings!).

There is something for everyone (fine art prints & digital also available).
I only select the best suppliers in the UK(and one from Portugal) who offer the best quality and customer service. I also offer an interest free payment plan for those who want to pay over a numbers of month.

What a miserable day today (rain, rain, rain!) I hope you are having indoor activities today :)
The new cinema room is almost finished..only a few little things to work on. I have made a video, a grand tour of the studio if you fancy looking at the changes. There is also an older video after the first renovations when everything was in the same room.

Sonny, a 3 years old Border Collie. He was a little nervous at first but with by giving him some time to relax he took it all in his stride! His mum is going to have some lovely fine art prints to display on her walls :)

Happy Easter everyone!
I am taking a few days off to recharge my batteries so will not have any clients in the studio until Friday. I am working on my new cinema room to be ready in a week's time for clients viewing & ordering sessions! It's going to make my life easier as it was time consuming to move everything around in the studio to make it a viewing room..now I will have a dedicated studio area, cinema room and a small office.
... On Friday I took a day off and went on a small walk with my husband around Marple (see picture)..one thing for sure I need to take the time to go for an haircut very soon!
Looking forward meeting new pooches in a week or so!

couldn't be happier with the results of the boys photoshoot a few weeks ago!! Can't recommend Joanne Photography enough, thank you so much for our photos we absolutely love them!! ��

We had so much fun with our Sphynx cat Obi! He made himself so at home in the studio and made us all laugh during his session, which was very relaxed! We love the finished photos, they have pride of place in the hallway and make us smile daily! Thank you!

Thanks for the wonderful photos of the dogs. I would highly recommend Joanne if you are thinking of having your pets photo taken, everything was easy from booking to viewing the finished photos, the only difficult bit is sticking to your budget and not having all of the photos.

Over the moon with the photographs we had taken of our girls! Our beagle and border collie! Joanne was ever so patient as my collie was like a rabbit in the head lights and wasn't playing ball. Using tricks and sounds to prick her ears up. Our beagle on the other hand was so confident in front of the camera. The photographs were so good, in fact we ending up choosing two sets of three. Instead of the three I had in mind when I made the booking. Thank you Joanne. Our family had an amazing and fun time on our photo shoot with Joanne. She was very patient with us having two small girls and a dog to contend with! Joanne took fantastic pictures of excellent quality. Excellent service and would highly recommend. Will hopefully be booking our pony in for a photo shoot soon!

Lucy and I had a wonderful day with Joanne. The pictures are fantastic. Along with the digital pictures I chose to have 4 framed together. I am so glad I decided to have them done as we had to say goodbye to Lucy this week. The pictures serve to remind me of a beautiful loving Lucy Dog.

Joanne is very professional from start to finish. she wasn't rushing and we felt totally relaxed with her, she was very passionate about getting the correct photos, we'd definitely recommend her. Also loved the attention to detail with the USB stick ��

Joanne is lovely. Very patient and accommodating. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having pet portraits done. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I got a free picture from the competition I entered but ended up buying more, certainly not disappointed with the quality of the photos.

Joanne has taken wonderful pictures of our dashchund Ralph. She put us both at ease. She got so many good shots, it's been really hard to narrow them down, so I'm glad I bought the coffee table book of all the best shots to keep.

I would recommend Joanne to anyone who wants beautiful photographs taken of their dog to keep for a lifetime. Milo my four year old Shitzhu loved his photo shoot, even though I had reservations about whether he would actually let a stranger take photos of him. Joanne put him and me at ease and she was so patient with him. If you want great photos give Joanne a call you won't be disappointed.

I was lucky enough to win a studio session with Joanne via a Facebook competition. Whilst she was really patient with my very uncooperative pooch during the shoot, I left the studio fearing that the photographs would be a disappointment on viewing day. I needn't have worried, she managed to capture my boy's personality perfectly and I struggled to choose which photographs to leave behind!



Having collected my framed prints I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the finished product.

I was a competition winner of Joanne’s, and I couldn’t be more amazed by how they turned out. She’s kind and patient with our 3 (rowdy) dogs, making sure they were comfortable with her before we got started. She had a really long drive down to us, and this didn’t even faze her.

The ordering process was really simple and her new studio is a comfortable relaxing place to make the difficult decision of which pictures to choose. She designed a custom order for us and was happy to make a few changes/alterations even the day before going to print because I’m so indecisive!

Upon on arrival of our pictures, they were packaged beautifully, on very high quality paper and mounts, with the frame being so well made. We will definitely be using her again in the future and I would highly recommend to anyone.

I had the most amazing session with joanne around Dunham Massey. She was very professional and listened to what I wanted to get out of it. Bertie my dog loved her. The pictures were amazing. I couldn't decided. So many good ones to choose from. Would completely recommended her to anyone . If fact I've booked another session for a years time when Bertie is fully grown.

I had a great time at Joanne's studio with my boy Max, he loved it, he was well behaved and Joanne let him have rests in between taking photos so it wasn't too much! He even got to play with doggy bubbles!! I can't wait to go back and see the photos!! Cant recommend enough!! �

I didn't know what to expect as this was my first professional photo shoot, looking for some nice photos of me and my horse together. Joanne was lovely, and we discussed what kind of images I wanted and scoped out the best places to take those pictures. She was lovely throughout the shoot and gave clear directions to get the best pictures we could.



I had a horse who wasn't particularly cooperative and it did threaten to rain us off at one point but nothing fazed her and we still managed to get a full set of 98 images, varying from posed to candid, ridden to loose in the field. If you need any testament to the quality of those images - I was completely unable to pick any few images as "best" and ended up purchasing every one of them.



I opted for the full set of digital images on a USB drive, and it's not a cheap mass-market USB. No, this is a custom, wood drive with Joanne's logo engraved, in its own little wood box on a nest of "straw". The drive itself, just like the images I got from the two hours we spent at the shoot, is definitely a work of art.

Had a wonderful photo shoot with my dog today even though she pooped � was absolutely mortified but it didn't seem to bother Joanne.... going back in a few weeks too see the photos .... would highly recommend her she really knows what she's doing ... can't wait for my photos !!! �

From start to finish Joanne was a true professional. She was really patient with our puppy and here children and even more patient when I was trying to decide on the images we wanted (too many beautiful ones!). Can highly recommend.

Couldn't think of a better photographer than Joanne. Maxy Moo was a handful on the day of the shoot and Joanne was very patient with her. So happy with my photo's and photo mount.
