We were a group of nine who booked to see the Abba tribute band on Saturday night. We couldn't fault the band or the disco afterwards it was fantastic and we danced the night away. Unfortunately for some of us the night was spoilt by the bar meal we had ordered. Firstly to say the chicken tikka masala was lovely, so four of us were very happy. Sadly four who chose the burger options were were not so satisfied, the burgers and chips were cold and hard, as thought they had been cooked, left and reheated, one came up as a chicken burger when it should have been a classic so we sent it back to be changed which was also cold and hard when brought out and lastly one ordered the chicken Caesar salad but asked for the chicken not to be added as it wasn't gluten free but was still charged full price for a plate of lettuce. So the lesson here is to either eat the chicken tikka masala or eat elsewhere beforehand but do make sure you put your dancing shoes on.

We had a brilliant time. The tour was a bit short but that's what you get on a match day. The staff were brilliant they went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We had the most amazing day, topped off by a smashing win over stevenage

User

Nice ground. Friendly staff. Safe parking in industrial park for£6. Short walk. TV near food. Good facilities. Great away trip even though I haven't seen Stevenage win here yet! Just one thing . We couldn't hear the tannoy very clearly. I liked the big screen to the right of the away stand too.👍

User

My son ball boys players and staff friendly to him. I also find the stewards friendly and do a great job. Atmosphere great lovely to see so many children in the family stand and taking part in the pitch shot outs with Eddie x

My dad is one of Col Utd legends and he was a great believer kids are the future supporters sowell done Col Utd for getting them involved. X

User

Have had dealings in the past that I was unhappy about butbin the last couple of years everything has come on leaps and bounds at the stadium. I'm proud of the way the stadium is ran and of course it's the home to my beloved U's

User

First time visiting Colchester Utd and as an away team fan. £3 for all day parking in the park and ride facility opposite the stadium off the A12. I had no trouble finding it and leaving after the match compared to others experiences. (People in a rush are just so daft). Trick is not to rush out after the game with the masses, instead take your time and relax with a coffee taking a bite to eat from the services next to the park and ride. Simples - Do it the stress freeway!

User

Atmosphere was amazing!! Good first trip to watch a game the players are all about the fans one of the players gave my little girl a training t shirt she was very happy...it's all about the community and people coming together, def a family game!! All my children love Eddie the eagle having photos with him before the game.

User

Visited on Wednesday in a bit of a storm raining persistently , as a disabled fan I must say the viewing platform was very well designed and thought out , lovely stewards a great view of the game and dry under cover , only gripes were getting out afterwards from the car park but we stayed to see players off and the vehicle queues were all gone . Best wishes for the season and thanks for getting the game on .

User

Nice typical new "flat pack" ground. Very good leg room in the seats. Great view of the pitch.

Easy enough to get to and away from transport wise. Catering facilities excellent with nice roomy concourse.

User

Nice stadium. Seats give you plenty of leg room. Atmosphere was good despite the low turnout by home fans. Parked at the nearby Park and Ride for £3. Only problem is the queuing to get out of the car park as there's only one exit but once you're out, its very convenient for the A12.

User

Nice and clean with helpful staff. Food a bit expensive but u expect that at these things. Good atmosphere at the football helped by Col U winning.

The website needs a bit of work - contact email address was incorrect and an event advertised all over the place wasn't on it! Despite that I'm looking forward to going back soon

User

Good ground.Parked in Park and Ride car Park.Easy 10 minute walk to the ground and easy to get out and back on to A12.Good view from the away stand ,good facilities and friendly stewards.Pity about the football being a 0-0 draw!!

User

First visit to ground. Impressed but never thought to take cash and no ATM so had to watch everyone else enjoying the delicious looking food and drink on offer.

Parked at park and ride short walk over A12 to ground. Will visit again soon

User

Easy to get too, food facilities available outside, nice wide concourse inside the stadium. All seats offer a great view of the pitch and despite it hammering it down all day yesterday still managed to stay dry during the match. Just a shame Aston Villa benefited from an inept referee and linesman

User

Drove all way from Doncaster for game n had a great day until got back to my car after game. Paid £7 to park my car at ground ( expected a topless car wash for that price ) and on getting back to car had a snotty note on my windscreen saying I had not displayed my ticket correctly n would face a fine in future if occured again. Ticket was clearly displayed on dash ( should have gone to spec savers ). Just put a bitter taste on an otherwise excellent day RTID :-)

User

Went to watch Essex senior cup final, did not expect to be charge for parking at the football ground, because of this it took us 35 minutes to get into the car park, and park, missing kick off

User

Visited for the Aston Villa v Colchester game , Lovely little stadium another now checked off the list , good friendly stewards , who after we arrived 25 mins after kick off directed us straight to where to park, now to the negatives, after taking nearly 6 hours to get there from the midlands in horrendous weather conditions after idiot drivers driving too fast crashed on M25 & A12 , when got to ground we was starving no outlets outside the ground selling burgers etc , in the ground at half time food outlet in away end ran out of food , now they knew in advance we had sold out our full allocation so the end was full , not good enough as I would of spent money which would of gone in the clubs coffers, and to rub salt in the wounds ( empty belly really not wounds as we won ) it took us 50 mins to get off the car park as there was only one exit , sort the exit n the food outlets out and you've got a perfect venue to visit.

The air conditioning is on so high people are sitting with their coats on!!! #bloodyfreezing

I saw olly murs on Saturday 10. Olly was brilliant by the way.

The way the Agency security staff on the other hand. We were guests of Bob weston and had been invited to join him in the executive suite. Before going in I was asked if I had any perfume. I was made to put this in a yellow bin. Security staff were later seen by one of Bob's party retrieving perfume out of the bin. My daughter in law and son who had platinum tickets right in front of the stage took in a rucksack which was NOT searched!!! I wrote to the stadium who advised that if the police were not happy with the Agency staff, they were replaced! I have asked to see their protocols which they have completely ignored my request. Surely any staff seen stealing should be sacked. We were not advised beforehand that we were not allowed to take perfume into the concert. There also appears to be grave inconsistencies in the way they treat their patrons...considering the recent terrorist attacks I think they need to pull their socks up!!
