The Return of Mr Sykes!
This month we welcome drummer Jamie Sykes, back to Brew for the first time since July 2016, alongside bass player extraordinaire Mark ‘Trousers’ Trounson and Joe Egan on the G-tar.
Bring your self, your horn, your bleepers and your bloopers and lets free some improv together. It might even be jazz.
It's FREE as always.

Had a great time on Sunday at Nottingham Jazz Jam at Peggy's Skylight. Absolute pleasure to jam with such a talented group of people.
Also an excellent opportunity to get out with the Bradley J-Caster, courtesy of Xperience Guitars. Can’t say enough good things about this instrument!

... This will be a special one. Onstage for the first time in too long will be the brothers Egan. Joe Egan and Charlie Egan have been improvising together for over a decade and share a connection that only time can build. They will be joined by some of Nottingham's finest makers of noise.

Getting in the carnival vibe with Major Ruse this Saturday from 2pm.
Very excited for Jamie Sykes to return from his travels so me and Marcus Joseph can scare him with the new tunes we've been writing...

Massive thanks to everyone at the Bitches Be Brewin’ jam last week, especially Three Body Trio with an outstanding house set! Was an absolute pleasure, as always.
We’re back 1st Thursday (6th Sept) at Jamcafé with another night of noise. House Band TBC very soon.
If you can’t wait that long, Major Ruse will be heading up a jazz/improv jam at Rescue Rooms a week on Monday (20th Aug). There will be amps, and drums, so just bring your horn/axe/voice/sticks and do your thing.

... This month we are graced by the electronic musings of Pete, Guohan and Tom followed by the usual shenanigans. We're thinking of adding in some games based improvising, any suggestions would be much appreciated!
