Joe'S Cafe Description
Joe's cafe, which has been serving great food in the Prestonville area of Brighton for 30 years, run by Andy and Julia McGlennon.
We are passionate about food and believe in the power of a great breakfast and a hearty lunch! Here at Joe's we pride ourselves on serving top quality, locally-sourced food at a reasonable price. Our overall aim is to provide the best breakfast in Brighton & Hove.
For breakfast we serve everything from a classic fry up to a spicy Spanish Hash or healthy crushed avocado, chilli and poached eggs on toast, all accompanied with quality, freshly ground coffee. Contrary to a recent post and phone call to the Environmental Health Office (EHO) last Friday morning (22/3/2019), we have since received an inspection from the EHO on Friday 22/3/2019. These quotes are their comments “Thank you for your time on Friday afternoon “. “As explained, I received a complaint about the cleanliness of your kitchen. I had NO concerns about the level of cleanliness “. To conclude, Joe’s Cafe has been given a clear bill of health. In 40+ years catering experience we pride ourselves on high levels of cleanliness, and since taking over Joe’s nearly 2 years ago have achieved 5star food hygiene ratings. best cafe in Upper Hamilton Road
Really good full English breakfast this morning - lovely sausage n bacon in particular! Great new decor and happy friendly staff. Well done on the opening day - will be back for a Fish Finger Sandwich soon - thanks!
My favourite cafe! Try the cakes!
Lovely staff, great atmosphere and amazing food! Went in feeling a little worse for wear and the waffles with maple syrup with bacon bought me back to life. Will be eating here again!
