Hi everyone, just to let you all know, apart from our normal closed days( Wednesday and Sunday), we will be enjoying 2 extra days off, Good Friday and Easter Monday. It makes a pleasant change for Easter to be late, though I don’t understand why it’s different and I ‘m NOT interested in why!! It meant we got the main chunk of the stocktaking done, instead of having to work through bank holidays.

So amazingly friendly and helpful. We are complete beginners and know nothing about how to set up a model railway for our son but been given some great advice and tips. Super quick at responding to messages too.

One of the very few model shops in the area, very helpful people and a large range of new and second hand trains. I always visit when lm in the area.

Fantastic, proper model shop! Never leave empty handed!!

Best Shop ever! Today I traded in 3 Locos for in-store credit and I was over the moon with the Price Heather the owner offered me. With that credit and more money to top up the fund i bought a Arriva Train Wales Class 67 002 for a Great price. I never leave empty handed! Friendly and helpful staff and is the best model shop around �



In addition its nice to see that Heather and her staff take good care of the shop and always tests the Locomotive that you may have bought in the shop this saves you getting all the way home and finding that it doesn't work. NOT many shops do this but it's a brilliant touch!

As someone whose model railway time has arrived, but has been out if the loop since the early 90s, this store has been an Alladin's Cave of everything I need to begin again.

Everything I needed was in stock, bar one item, which was ordered straight away for me, and arrived within mere days!

The staff are all enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, and happy, and went out of their way to give me useful tips and advice.

The second-hand section is just far too tempting, and I'll have to raid it at a later date, when funds permit.



All in all, if you have a model railway, or interested in modelling in general, this place is literally your one-stop-shop.
