I ordered a Christmas Tree for £195 one week later and 3 telephone calls and I am still waiting for the tree. The money is out if my account. No one seems to know where it is as there are no tracking details. I have to wait for a call back at 5pm why 5pm no one knows.Disgraceful

Returned a faulty soap dispenser, once used the pump would not return to "ready to use" position. I had rinsed the soap out and placed the product in a plastic bag with the receipt. You would have thought I had given the assistant something disgusting. Her manner was very unfriendly and patronising. I have bought many products from John Lewis and generally enjoy shopping there but my whole experience of the store has been spoilt, never before have I received such poor customer service, especially with regard to a faulty product. Most of the staff are extremely helpful unfortunately this person lets the store down somewhat.

Nice big spacious store. All the usual quality products you'd expect from JL, plus a couple of cafés to keep your shopping energy up between floors. Good audio visual department. A little pricey, but it's usually worth it (and you can always price match if it isn't).

Fabulous apart from the jeans I bought that had train tickets and betting slips in the pocket. Obviously used before. I was refunded but there was no apology. I feel a bit disgruntled considering I spend a fortune in the place every year, year in year out.

Quality products and service. Some may feel the goods are expensive but you are buying quality. A nice bright well laid out store to browse and get ideas. A great place if you want something a little out of the ordinary or a gift for a special person.
There are lifts to all floors with toilets opposite the lifts except on the ground floor.

Went to the beauty floor today my wife wanted makeup from the Armani counter but the assistant was at lunch. The assistant off the Sisley counter was so helpful to my wife unfortunately we don't know her name my wife asked me to write a review because the assistant went out of her way to help her many thanks.

On the 28th of February went in to look for a television. Staff member Des came over and was very nice he knew his knowledge of televisions as I was unsure. I came back later on and Des was again so helpful and made me and my partner so relaxed and felt at home

The large 6'7 Peter crouch looking brother in the kitchens was very polite, fantastic in service, and kept a great rapport with us and made us appreciate our John Lewis cafe experience so much more. The same can be said for another guy (except for the fact he's 3 foot shorter and looks like the lead so get of kasabian) both absolute credits to the company.

Dropped in for a quick lunch with a view (one side of the cafe gives views of Chavasse park and a little of the dock and estuary) but it's not cheap! Sandwiches in fairness were very tasty. Not sure they were good value though: two sandwiches, two bags of crisps and two cups of tea cost nearly £20.
