John Lewis

Could be larger, and the male clothes section is small. But a great homes section and materials and haberdashery.

Went in today to underwear department. Staff seemed far more interested in listening to the choir that was in store and gossiping to each other rather than helping customers. When i asked for help the lady i spoke to did not have a clue on any of the products. Won't be going back.

Just the greatest departmental store you can get just about everything there and super staff too

Husband ordered. Always love their range. Took a bit of time to collect but happy with the items.

Bought a vacuum cleaner today
It had been recommended by friends so it was as good as sold to us before we got to John Lewis
Which is just as well because the lady who we had to search for to help us didn’t have a clue about the product. She couldn’t turn it on, didn’t know what attachments it came with and was so surprised when we revealed to her that it was bagless.
Then she rushed off half way through as she said she had to do something else!
Got to the till and the sales lady didn’t know how to serve us and had to get help from a man who did know. I know everyone has to start somewhere but they shouldn’t be left on their own whilst learning. I felt sorry for her and her awkwardness.

It's a typical John Lewis, nothing exciting or special and exactly what you'd expect. Not gonna lie, there are bigger branches and smaller ones. But you'll find what you need

As with all John Lewis stores this is great. Everything you need with friendly and plentiful staff. The little Waitrose downstairs is endlessly useful for me

Massive store over multiple levels with a cafe at the top. Great views from the glass lifts. The store is large light and airy with plenty of staff on hand to help.

If you want help to find the right thing, it's just the right shop. They know what service is. Thank you

Great service in the cafe, and then fabulous service in electronics when we were trying to find some headphones for my little boy, to the point where they opened a set off the shelf for us to try on :-)

Kind and helpful staff, good service.
I bought a tablet there but it did not suit my demands. Had no problems with return.

Really lovely, helpful staff. Great selection of brands too.

I would like to say that the management team Adrian smith was amazing and sorted out the issue with a faulty range cooker I purchased
My advice would be to only purchase items from store and not via on line services as the team there sorted the problem out right away were as the contact service off John Lewis were very poor and sent me around the block and was very un helpful

I love John Lewis. Their staff are always kind and helpful. However, it was tricky to find a member of staff on my visit.
